I should start off by saying that the place I normally go to you have to make an appointment and it's more upscale so of course this isn't going to be a straight comparison, however this is nice for your average nail salon. Worst nail experience in my life . I used to go here until one lady ripped my eye brows apart so I decided to give them another try and they got worse. I had an appointment today and all began well until the lady started taking care of everyone without an appointment leaving me waiting almost 30 minutes after she already started . Then she didn't even listen to the shape or anything I wanted and gave me off to another lady who also didn't shape my nails nothing at all they look like they just slapped paint over the gel . The only great part was Nari who did my eye brows and my feet she was quick and actually knew what she was doing and was extremely kind. If you have an appointment expect to be put last and have everyone who doesn't have one get taken care of first Want a something specific ? I came here to get a manicure and pedicure. I got acrylics and the man doing it did not do the best job. Very uneven and so expensive ! I usually go to walmart nails and it comes out so good every time for a reasonable price. My pedicure came out great, I enjoyed getting that. I probably will not be back. I came in for a gel manicure and reg. pedicure.. totally overpriced.. My gel manicure didn't even last a full week. The pedicure was horrible, they didn't even massage my feet or legs, they just quickly rubbed lotion on. Didn't cut cuticles, but filed them?? ... also- before I was even done, and ready to pay .. the cashier took out my tip of 5.00 and gave it to my nail tech- and then charged me on my card the 5.00 that I didn't even plan on giving.... I was extremely disheartened with this place. I went with my 2 daughters because I wanted some bonding time. When paying I was trying to figure out what women to tip as there was more than 1. The owner put my acrylics and base gel on, while she was filing my nails she was also filing my cuticles. The nail build up on my thumb and the gel are uneven. I have 5 cuticles that are bleeding. I went to Kay for the design though and she was super sweet. It's a little expensive compared to where I usually go, but overall my nails look nice. read more

Good local place. I used to go here a lot when I worked in the area, it is still the same. Prices are cheap. The only thing I didn't like was that my nails are a little unevenly filed. Went there for the first time for a regular pedicure. I didn't have an appointment. The woman who greeted me was not friendly. I picked out regular polish from the wall and sat down. The woman who did my pedicure stated abruptly that the polish I had chosen was an extra $5 because it was "special" polish, although there was no sign indicating that it would cost more money. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. Would actually give 0 stars if I could. My pedicure was extremely rushed even though me and my girlfriend were the only two clients in the salon... my techniction globes scub on my legs and didn't rub it in but instead rinsed it off immediately. She then massages me legs with the very tips of her fingers causing me to wince in pain and the technician threw her hands back and literally said "I give up". She also cut my big toe twice and didn't acknowledge the fact that i was bleeding until i said something. They over charged me by $15 and made me run in a torrential downpour of rain to my car with wet nails instead of letting me sit and wait for them to dry, so the already horrible paint looked even worse. Total chop shop - do not go here! I just walked in because this place is conveniently located next to the supermarket. All I needed was my SOAK-OFF gel polish removed. Instead, they sanded it off - so far that they hit my nerve endings. To add insult to literal injury, there was base coat left over afterward. Plus, the technician's hands were totally gross! I have been a customer along with my husband and daughter for the last 4+ years. I made an appointment for my daughter and I. A pedicure for me and a gel manicure for my daughter. The owner name is Sonny and by far she is the MOST unprofessional business owner I have ever met. She has not concept of customer driven performance. She told me to take a seat in the pedicure chair when I arrived...I sat down and waited even though I had an appointment that I scheduled in advance. After waiting for 30 minutes she told me that I should not have came in today because their too busy and she needs me to reschedule. There was clearly no regards for the customer at all. The owner as well as 95% of the technicians do not communicate well at all. I should have stop coming to this Salon a few months ago when my husbands toe became infected from a deep cut on his cuticle of his large toe. It was so bad that the next day we ended up in the ER....leaving with an antibiotic prescription. That really should have been my last visit. My 16 year old daughter was so humiliated that day that she had us wait after we had an appointment and decided we should leave and come back another day because they were too busy. Wow...after so many years...and not complaining about the ER experience. Just got acrylic nails done. They are all different lengths and are uneven. Some nails do not have enough powder so I have gaps in my nails. I asked my lady to cut them shorter and she rolled her eyes at me. I went in at about 440 and they spend 5 minutes giving me a pedicure. Would not recommend. Very unsatisfied. read more

Do Not go here. Period. The employees are rude. They do not pay attention to what they are doing while they are working on you. While they are working on you they talk to each other in their native language. One actually was pointing at my toe and talking about it to her employee friend sitting next to her about it!! They have no concept of customer satisfaction or for societal norms of rude behavior. This same woman nicked me several times with the rotary device, knew she did because I flinched, and never so much as apologized because she was too busy talking to her friend. Won't be going back here anymore. I popped into Top Nails last Saturday without an appointment for a gel manicure. When I asked how long the wait was, I was told five minutes. So I sat and waited, and waited, and waited some more. I waited for almost 20 minutes! If I didn't have a bridal shower to go to, I wouldn't have waited but my nails were that bad. While I sat there waiting, I watched on as a woman was getting a massage in a chair as you walk in. I would've flipped if I were her... The woman giving her the massage paused every other minute to answer the phone and greet customers coming in. When the timer went off, she ended the massage and charged the customer regular price! I should've seen that as a reason to leave. When they finally took me, I was sent to one chair, picked a color, and the worker began sanding my nails down. As I was getting comfortable, I was asked to move to I guess it was the owners work area right when you walk in. She was super sweet and smiley, greeting and talking to clients in the salon. As she was buffering my nails, she went to push back my cuticles... But instead of using a sanitary cuticle pusher, she used her own long fingernail to push back my cuticles! Omg I thought I was going to throw up! Lucky for me, a regular customer came walking in, so once again, I was moved to yet another station! This woman did a nice job with my nails. Though she didn't speak English, she was very courteous. Though my manicure still looks fine a week later, I will never step foot in that salon again. Didn't feel like I got a chance to relax since I was being moved around constantly, and after seeing the practices of the owner doing my nails, I question the cleanliness of the entire salon.
