I have NEVER had this experience at a salon in my LIFE!!! I have come there a few times with my daughter for pedicures and acrylic nails for myself. Usually, when I had went there, there had not been anyone to do waxing. So, today, I decide to take my daughter again to get our services, and the owner's mother, Tina, was there to do waxing. TINA Fk'd UP MY DAUGHTER'S EYEBROWS and tried to argue with me about it! When I came out after getting mine done, I came out and saw my daughter covering her eyebrows. I asked if she was okay? And she said no because her eyebrows were uneven. I thought she was overreacting, until I really looked at it. My daughter has beautiful, thick eyebrows, so all she needed was a cleanup and the middle waxed off. This bih took off too much hair at the top of one eyebrow and too much of the bottom of the other. I asked my daughter if she wanted it fixed, and she didn't because she thought it would be worse. I told the manager and was about to pay and leave, but they insisted she fix it. Now, my daughter, who is about to be 15, has had her eyebrows done since middle, and it NEVER looked like that! For some reason, this lady could not see how uneven it was, and kept arguing with me, getting loud, and tried to say everyone's eyebrows are never really even(???). She also kept talking to the owner in whatever language they speak, so I know it was nothing good about us. When I saw I was getting nowhere, I just left the room so I can pay and leave. I didn't asked for any money taken off or anything because I was pleased with everything else. I tried to explain this to Tim, the owner, and he kept looking down and shaking his head and not saying anything. No apology or nothing! When I even said my nails looked good in spite of, he didn't say anything. Anyway, I still have a tip, although not as good as I would have. I felt completely disrespected, and I believe there were trying to insinuate that I was trying not to pay. I was hoping the manager would at least say something to redeem himself, but his apathy just solidified my decision to never spend another dime in there, again! As we were leaving, the sole black employee had told us to have a good, then they started laughing. I have never been disrespected like that at a salon, EVER, and I am 40 years old! My daughter is so upset and was crying, which makes we want to cry, too. I wish I knew how to post a pic in this review so you can see how much Tina messed up her eye brows. I thought I'd found a regular place to go to, but never again! read more
