Kept asking if I wanted shellac and said no many times, asked for dark blue polish got what I think is black, would not change for me. I just visited the top nails to get a basic manicure, pedicure and eyebrow arch. I am visiting from other out of town and they had decent reviews. Andy did my manicure, and that is where the butchering started he cut and miss shaped my natural nails. He did not manicure the cuticles. He sent me then to a woman an older woman that started the pedicure. She cut my toenails so low that it hurt and I asked her to stop a gentleman came over to try and finish the job however, she had cut my nails so low that he could not file them. He did not manicure the cuticles on my toes. both attempted to paint my toenails before they use the dry stone for smoothing. My nails and toes look like a five year-old did them and I spent $50. I would not recommend this place. They did not try to fix the situation. read more

Shellac manicure and Pedi. The manicure tables were so dirty. Someone else's clipped nails and chipped polish was all over. The man who performed my services did an absolute hack job and 4 days later I could pick the edges of my cuticles and pull the shellac off with a tiny pull. Horrible work! Save your money! read more

One of the male nail techs pulled a classic up charge on me. I asked for a normal mani pedi and got a surprise "upgrade" to a French tip gel, which cost me an extra 23 dollars. I'm from CA and that combo doesn't even cost that much there. I agreed to the french tip (an extra 5 dollars) after I noticed him doing it but not the gel. It's not the greatest French and he made a few of my nail beds bleed. The massage was super awkward and I got the feeling he was messing with me. Average technique... Did shellac French on my hands. Clear coat was left in my skin and if you look closely they're not that well done. However, they were very fast (15 minutes). For a quick touch up, or if your desperate and not near any other town go here. It's a 5/10. read more

Top Nails is the best place in Cadillac to get your nails done. All nail salons are shady on pricing so I go to top because at least I get what I pay for. They know what they are doing and even though they try to up-sell a lot, I've noticed that the advice is actually true to their knowledge. Ken (1st chair) is my guy and he is a little rough but he is accurate and fast so I just deal with it! The girl in there is very nice and personable, she is just a little slow for me. They will always give you a gel full set so before you think your walking out with a 25$ full set, you wont! You have to really push the fact that you want ACRYLIC and NOT gel, then they will charge an additional 5 for polish and 5 for topcoat. So mine as well get the gel full set, they last longer anyway =] read more

Service was okay. I was the first customer there (Sunday) and it felt very uncomfortable because there wasn't any music or tvs going (I'm a very quiet person and I don't do small talk). But the guy that did my nails made me feel like he was rushing some acrylic was left on my skin. Nail polish was also rushed and left on my skin but overall looks very good. This place isn't horrible, but its not great either. I am not sure how well they sterilize their tools, if at all. I have been here a few times and have never actually seen anyone rinse or wash their tools. There is no visible autoclave either. The place always reeks of chemicals. I would not recommend bringing a child or elderly person here because of that. The men who mani/pedi outnumber the women. I am just meh about this place. read more
