This company charged $210 just to come and look at a fireplace/chimney. They did mention they would…read morecome and do a 21-point inspection but I thought the fee would go towards the total if we had them complete the repair required and I was getting an estimate. It wasn't until the technician told me they were done with the inspection but wouldn't send it until they got paid that I realized they were expecting payment now. He called a supervisor who was very unprofessional and told me they were going to call the police if I didn't pay the guy even after I told them I wouldn't have had them come if I realized I wasn't just getting an estimate and they didn't make that clear. I wouldn't recommend this company - they told me I needed $2,350 of work done. I had another company do the repair more the way I wanted and expected and they charged $400, including the inspection.
