They were referred to me by a friend who had her roofing done by them. What impressed her the most was the extra-mile they took to make her happy. Surprisingly, one of the biggest challenges during my numerous interviews, was finding a company who actually knew how to install heated flooring underneath travertine tiles. So I was pleased to learn that Alpha One Construction is experienced in this. It was an extensive project that took 2 months to complete. If you've ever watched HGTV, you'll learn that with any construction projects, obstacles are bound to surface. Nothing ever goes 100% as anticipated. Key, however, is how the company goes about to resolve these issues. I can genuinely say, Alpha One Construction went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will give one illustration of how Alpha One Construction went above their call of duty. In an effort to reduce my expenses, I opted to paint my existing kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them. Unfortunately, the brackets that were initially installed prior to my moving in were cheap quality. A year after my renovation was complete, a couple of these cheaper brackets broke. Alpha One Construction sent out a couple of their workers, who not only replaced the broken brackets, but proactively changed out all of the cheap quality brackets with the sturdier ones I purchased, in an effort to ensure that this does not happen again. This act alone is why I'm loyal to them. They take pride in their work and that's important. There are "love them and leave them" companies who will ignore you should a problem surface once they collect the final payment. Then there is Alpha One Construction who knows that reputation is everything. This is why I will refer anyone who is considering renovation work on their homes to them. I trust that they have their client's best interest at heart.

I had the absolute pleasure of working directly with Jose, the owner, and I can't say enough good things about him and his team. Jose took on a massive project for us: building an ADU, a full room extension, and an entirely new garage from the ground up. From the very first nail to the final finishing touch, Jose was 100% in control. His attention to detail, communication, and commitment to excellence made a potentially stressful experience feel seamless. What stood out the most? His integrity. Jose only makes recommendations that are genuinely in the best interest of the customer -- never upselling, never cutting corners. He takes immense pride in his professional craftsmanship, and it shows in every square inch of his work. He was kind, honest, and incredibly easy to work with. This was a long project with many moving parts, and throughout the process, I got to know Jose beyond just a contractor -- he became someone I consider a friend. The hardest part about hiring someone to work on your home is finding someone with strong work ethics and impeccable skills. Jose and American Professional Builders are exactly that. I reached out for help fixing our master shower at first, and from day one, Alex was amazing: honest, communicative, and detail-oriented. We were so thrilled with our new master shower that we hired them again for our garage remodel--and AGAIN for our other bathroom, roof, and front door, where we had the pleasure of meeting Uzi, the owner. Both Alex and Uzi are down-to-earth, trustworthy, and genuinely care about their customers. The quality, value, and integrity of this company are truly unmatched. Every project was completed efficiently and beautifully, and Alex kept me super informed throughout, which I deeply appreciated. Our home looks absolutely stunning now, and I can't wait to get it appraised. If you're looking for excellent communication, skilled craftsmanship, integrity, and great value--I highly recommend USLA Home Remodeling. We were pleased to see that pattern continue during the work itself as David led an extensive team to do what we expect a professional contractor to do: offer ideas and expertise, perform quality work, and drive through obstacles to keep the project moving amid several frustrating hurdles and delays caused by a long HOA approval process as well as the various required government permits (building, electrical and plumbing). Through the process they were honest and open and collaborative. We chose colors, materials and designs with their expert guidance and input. On a couple of occasions their advice saved us from our own bad ideas and resulted in a much-improved final outcome. And when little things went off track (as things inevitably do in large projects) Manchen stepped up consistently to make the changes needed. We think the results speak for themselves.

I got Skyline recommended to me by my property management company. I met Joe the owner a few days later. He was very professional and I felt confident that he could do the job and on schedule. I am very glad I went with him. From the start of the work, his guys always showed up on time and Joe was always available or on site to answer questions or deal with issues (most were minor). They rushed the job for me and they met the deadline and the work was excellent. When it came time to do the threshold on the flooring between the tiles in the bathroom to the wood floors in the rest of the house, He actually brought in a floor specialist not just the regular crew. I really appreciated that. The floor guy offered me options including taking out pieces of the wood floors and running it seamlessly to the tile of the bathroom. Even though that would look the best, I opted not to do that because it would require ripping out some of the wood flooring and glueing new pieces in. I was in a rush to finish, and I didn't think laying a piece of wood flooring perpendicular to the rest of the flooring looked that bad. But I appreciated that I had that option. Most contractors would have just done whatever they wanted and made you live with it after the fact. I highly recommend Skyline. Oh and my dog loved Joe. Joe even took her on walks and car rides. Super unusual but apparently my dog was a good judge of character. She doesn't like a lot of strangers so very unusual that she took to Joe.
