Cannot recommend Ride Chicago enough! My very precious boy…read morehas wanted to ride a bike for years. At 18 yrs old we finally relented. I don't doubt his skill as he's an excellent car driver. I do doubt all the crazies on the road! And I want my kiddo to last until old man adulthood! So I wanted him to have as much practice as possible from people who truly care. Freddie saw Jay for riding skills / lessons for the last couple of weeks and wow! Not only is my boy hooked but I have a deeper respect for these guys that take their time to take the students seriously. As a Mum who wants her kiddo riding as safe as possible, I thought nothing of multiple lessons and of course the onsite licensing class. Alden in the office was brilliant at working out the scheduling that worked with our crazy calendar and we now have a fully licensed rider who sailed through the test with zero marks taken off. My son will have a break for the winter and I will once again see if Jay can give him a refresher in the late Spring before the season really starts to give my kiddo every success to enjoy his riding! Thank you Ride Chicago! You gave Freddie the world he was hoping to ride in!

This was my very first time on a motorcycle. Henry and Natalie are great instructors. Sure, they know how to ride and instruct on skills. What they are really good at is developing relationships to aid in instruction. They learn your name, encourage and provide guidance in a way that keeps your head in the game. I highly recommend Ride Chicago.

AVOID!!! They have a 5 month wait to get behind the wheel. They put 20 kids in the class but…read morescheduling behind the wheel is a 5 month wait! your child will miss school activities and sports ! I scheduled my son's course for summer and cannot get behind the wheel until October yet he finished the class in July- he started June! They cannot schedule time until they have permit They cannot get permit until / classes AND full payment!!! They gladly take the money and say we have to have permits for 9 months plus parents need 50 hours with kids- so it's the parents teaching the kids- not the instructors. Who cares if these kids are doing all the time behind the wheel in a week! After school a 3 hour lesson goes from 3:39-6:30- so they are tired, irritable, hungry if they had 1 st lunch which is at 11-11:30 at my sons school- that's a good way to drive and learn to drive. it's just no excuse!

Through his patient demeanor and stern no-music-in-the-car policy, the students in my class all unanimously agreed that they could not have asked for a better instructor. I thank Mr. Rodriguez for a friendship and experience I will never forget, and if you don't believe me, then you apparently don't believe this review, because I'm writing it for his benefit. 10/10!

Due to covid restrictions, I decided to take my classes online and it was easy to follow. The classes started on time and Karen was exceptional in answering our questions and providing step-by-step instructions on how to execute functions. I always preferred to work on Excel, but Karen really showed the true power of working in Access. I work with large datasets and tables daily, so being able to evaluate the datasets and make updates and changes without excess formulas really simplified my job. The books are hefty and there's lots of content per class, so not likely to review all materials. However, the books are great resources I know I will be referencing for many years to come.

Since I paid out of pocket, I had to ask and have emailed to me materials other students could retrieve via their online portal. In the end, after I received my certificate of class completion, I was on my own. It seems that those WIOA students will have their exams paid for and have access to post-course practice exams. I, as an independent student, wasn't entitled to that but was "gifted" similar info from Udemy. Also was provided the link to enroll (and pay) to take the exam if I'm interested in that. Why would I not be if I paid for the class in order to take the exam? So my lesson for anyone interested in this school and you're paying for your classes out of pocket is to shop around. Please research and look at other schools. I wish I had done just that before taking this course.
