To TopDriver's credit, I got a quick response from the general customer assistance this morning and then soon after Ralph, our regional manager, called me with sincere apologies and a new, confirmed lesson time. With COVID, so many businesses do not have enough workers, in this case possibly driving instructors, so we all have to be patient. That said, the scheduling system mentioned by many reviewers on this site is very difficult to manage. From my experience and others on this site, it appears that if you cannot get a lesson time, try to find out who your regional manager is, and ask them for help in scheduling. Not all parents can sit online for an hour at 8am (which is what I did) on the morning the site opens up to try to hit the system just right so you can schedule a time. My advice to anyone using TopDriver is to schedule 2 or 3 of your in-vehicle lessons when you sign up for the program. That way, you have a few on the books and have time to deal with delays in getting instruction, especially an issue when staff and instructors may be out sick because of COVID.

They had 6 months to do it. They blamed me for not checking the DMV web sight before we went. The on line classes were a joke and they crammed all her driving hours in a 2 -3 week span so there wasn't time to practice on our own in between. Any where else is better than this driving school.

They agreed that this should have never happened and said they would take action to make sure this never happens again to any student. They worked quickly to make things right. The classroom part of this school is ok. They are all about the same. It's the driving part that will give you nightmares. First of all, we have so far been canceled on 4 times, each time with a different excuse, so while we should have been done with lessons a month ago, he still has one lesson to go. There is one driver, Halina, who should not be allowed near anyone learning to drive ever! She berated my neurodivergent son while practically cooing at the other student. She even made him sit in the passenger seat while another student was driving (ILLEGAL) because he had the audacity to point out that the other student was driving over 10 mph over the speed limit; how dare he (yes, Halina, that is sarcasm; learn to recognize it instead of confusing honest, kind teenagers because you never learned what sarcasm was). When my son does the drives, he gets good feedback during the drive as well as a write up afterward that I can review with him and know what to work on at home. I want to give them 5 stars but scheduling individual drives has been extremely tough to get. I understand that Covid created an issue with getting folks scheduled and actually hosting drives; however, from a user experience it has been frustrating trying to get on the schedule.

Everything went smooth at first with the 30 hr classroom part, but the behind the wheel registration was impossible to do. Customer Service was completely useless and super rude too. They said we had to book it early which I agreed to at first but then when I checked at 6 AM on the day more spots opened up nothing at all showed up. I called them again and they the audacity to tell me to check earlier next time. I paid around $850 for this and they make it this hard to get a single class. My son hasn't done a single drivers class keep that in mind. On the day of the final I was told by customer service that my son could take it another day since he had no ride, due to a business trip I was on but then we received an email that the entire 30 hour course needed to be retaken. I contacted customer service again like usual and they said there was nothing they could do about it. They could've just told us before hand all of this and I would've tried figuring something out. He spent 4 months on this course just to retake it. Awesome Top Driver! They even charged us another fee to do the course again about 200 dollars which makes the total about 1000 dollars wasted on these classes. If it wasn't mandatory in school to take these I would've never put him in these classes. This company only cares about money and nothing else. There classes are infact useless. My son already drives amazingly and knows everything thanks to common sense. They also held him in their for an extra half an hour for no reason when the entire lesson was over.
