One note, the BTW sessions were difficult to schedule since the instructors schedule was always full 3-4 weeks out. But if you don't mind scheduling that far ahead, it was no problem. Everything (grades, forms, scheduling, etc) was all online and easy to do. Overall, was very happy.

Kiran taught my boys to be patient when driving and to follow all of the rules of the road. Kiran prepared them very well for their final driving exam. Kiran was extremely flexible and patient with them in working in their behind the wheel appointments and helping them on areas of improvement. We are so thankful to have Kiran for both of my boys for their behind the wheel instructor. Kiran prepared both of my boys very well to be new drivers. The instructors demanded the students provide gift cards in exchange for the privilege of using notes on exams, even going so far as to specify which gift cards they would accept. Not only is this unethical, but it teaches students that academic advantages can be bought rather than earned. It also discriminates against students that can't afford such gifts! My child also had a negative experience with one of the instructors. During a drive, the instructor screamed at my child and belittled them for asking a question. We were able to get a different instructor for subsequent drives, but the unstable individual that worked with my child is clearly in the wrong profession. I would encourage anyone looking for a driving school to look elsewhere!

Covid hit and now I reach back out to them about the situation and they tell me they are waving the $100 reinstatement fee because he was to complete it in nine months but couldn't because of covid. Oh so you think you are doing me a favor? The school closed without warning. Giving no other option then to go to Naperville. You're. Ittalking a 10 min extra drive. You're talking 45! All I want is a refund for the driving portion so I can have him take it closer to home. That was the point of choosing your school in the first place. Called today to schedule my child's driving. Willing to accept the fast it is what it is. That was until I spoke to the very rude and frustrated lady at this Naperville location. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone else and she repeatedly told me she was the only person. Refused to listen, kept cutting me off. I guess I was suppose to be happy about signing my son up close to home only to go 45min away. The owner called me and she is just as nuts. LEO was firm with his lessons and he talked to my twins with respect. All other classroom and driving instructors were rude to both parents and students. LEO offered my twins useful tips, tricks, and stories that helped them enjoy their driving experience. If all instructors were like LEO I would give Excel 5 stars.

My child was bounced around instructors, one of them physically and verbally assaulted her. The instructor she was assigned to had no openings most of the summer because she "wasn't working." We tried to schedule and were given final drives available after school started, not conducive. I was refused service or a refund to take my child elsewhere for the drives. Excel are crooks and scam artists.

Their program has been groomed into a well oiled machine. They have experienced instructors who have a knack for teaching this material in a manner everyone can understand. Their goal is your success as a well informed professional driver. They will have you driving a truck confidently by the time you test for you CDL. I recently went on vacation and my husband rented a manual shift car, which I do not know how to…read moredrive. It scared me, like, what if something happens and I need to drive my family? I won't know what I'm doing! I asked my hubs to give me a lesson and it was no good. So upon returning home, my husband bought me lessons from here. I scheduled it for a Sunday midday and was contacted by my instructor via text with confirmation of date and time. A couple days before, I was sent a reminder, and the day of, shown a nice map of exactly where we'd be meeting in this huge parking lot. Garrett was my instructor and he was great! I drove his car and he was patient on explaining what to look for and many of the exercises were done in neutral or first gear which is the most difficult to get used to, so I appreciated all of the training we went through. It's a 3 hour course, but I didn't use up all the time. I went through all the exercises included in the course and he let me use the remaining time to practice what I wanted a better handle on. It was truly a great experience. I wish I could have gone on the road in real traffic, but that's probably too much for a first time lesson. There's an option to take more lessons, so I'm sure that's probably something you can ask about. Meanwhile, I'll be asking my friends who own stick shift cars to practice my skills. Highly recommend this course!

While taking the tour I decided to take the structural welding course-6 months. I couldn't have been more pleased. The instructor Mr.Shaker was very helpful, patient and up front. The atmosphere is laid back just you and a booth with some welding machines and your instructor plus classroom. They do not offer night classes and the class in the day time runs from 8a.m. until 3 p.m. . I did so well that the placement dept. told me they could find me a better gig, so ditched the one I had originally went there for. Plus points for letting me do the pipe welding course for free because I finished earlier than expected. The courses can be little expensive but, if you're going for a decent gig in the welding field it is well worth it.

I went to school on the night shift, so I was able to work full-time and still attend school. (4 p.m.- 10 p.m.) Jake, Dennis and Jeff are very skilled at all methods of welding and can demonstrate effectively how to produce quality welds. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to become a welding professional.
