I do doubt all the crazies on the road! And I want my kiddo to last until old man adulthood! So I wanted him to have as much practice as possible from people who truly care. Freddie saw Jay for riding skills / lessons for the last couple of weeks and wow! Not only is my boy hooked but I have a deeper respect for these guys that take their time to take the students seriously. As a Mum who wants her kiddo riding as safe as possible, I thought nothing of multiple lessons and of course the onsite licensing class. Alden in the office was brilliant at working out the scheduling that worked with our crazy calendar and we now have a fully licensed rider who sailed through the test with zero marks taken off. My son will have a break for the winter and I will once again see if Jay can give him a refresher in the late Spring before the season really starts to give my kiddo every success to enjoy his riding! Thank you Ride Chicago! You gave Freddie the world he was hoping to ride in!

An essential, and excellent, experience for first-time and experienced riders alike…read more I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle, but never felt quite ready to pull the trigger. After a year of sneaking rides on my wife's scooter, the time was finally right. Get your permit and sign up for a class at Ride. They'll start you out with the absolute basis, and take you through two, five hour days after which you'll feel confident in being able to pass the state test (another service they provide). I'll be heading back down to take that test soon, and am looking forward to starting my journey on two wheels, and almost certainly taking their intermediate class down the line. If you're lucky enough to get Jay and Paco, you'll be in good hands. They're each incredibly knowledgeable, excellent teachers with two very different styles, something I personally loved. You never have the opportunity to get too frustrated or anxious because you know you're in good hands and you're constantly building on skills you've learned in previous lessons. Highly recommend!

I thankfully had some experience going in, but she really helped me consider things I hadn't before, and most importantly, corrected bad habits that I had learned along the way. I have obtained my license today and consider myself a success story for the driving school. The website is confusing at times, but the instructors are top quality. If you live around a location and are looking for a good driving school I would recommend it.

Now I have requested these dates off for nothing! And I can't change them ! That's unacceptable! My time is limited and I will not go ahead with this driving school!

I called the number that had originally texted me about the class. At first, there was no answer, but I received a call back shortly after. When I explained I was at the school for class, I was told it had been canceled and that cancellation messages were sent out. However, I never received any such message. Instead of taking accountability, the person on the phone questioned whether I was sure I didn't get a message, asked for my phone number again, and even doubted whether I had confirmed for that day. I explained that I had received the class details from the very number I was speaking with--how else would I have it? What made it worse was that I wasn't the only one left in the dark--another student was also there waiting. If it takes three students to run a class, and cancellation texts were supposedly sent, that means there was a full class planned. This situation was not only careless but entirely unprofessional and inconsiderate. I wouldn't recommend this driving school based on how poorly they handled this.

She needed another summer activity and to have more practice time before she turned 16. So we bit the bullet. I am really glad she did. It gave the summer a focus, she had a really positive experience when she wasn't worried about school and sports and she had lots of driving with Mom and Dad before she turned 16. If you can afford it and the timing doesn't work out in your normal HS, this is a really good alternative.
