Enrolled our child over the summer of 2024. Fast track classes since course was offered over 4…read moreweeks as opposed to the semester long period typically of high school- which we thought would be better. Well, read on. Child states classes were incredibly boring (instructor was lazy and rolled around in his chair, while teaching) and videos were "out of touch". It did not captivate my child's attention nor did it pique any interest in learning. We enrolled our child in this class for drivers education. He turned 16 in late spring. Classroom is sufficient but the students state "an old fat man that never stands up but rolls around on his office chair". Incredibly boring and monotone. Part of the class includes a "behind the wheel" driving with the instructor. Scheduling "behind the wheel" (BTW) instructor times was, to say the LEAST, one of the worst and most horrific experiences ever! EVER!! Instructions were very unclear on how to schedule - no phone calls allowed, only texts. This could be perceived as innovative however it was in fact obnoxious! Responses to texts were untimely (up to 10 hours later), during hours "outside of normal busier hours" and inconsistent, ie no response after several follow-ups). The scheduler was mean, rude, uncooperative, prejudiced and lacked any sense of decency. She refused to give out her name, so henceforth will be known as "Karen". Karen claimed that students needed to finish class work before being scheduled for BTW and, that they would need to practice driving before BTW scheduling occurred. WTF!! - I thought the instructors were to teach them with their specially equipped cars(brake on the instructors side)!!! That's why we send them to driving school - to learn how to drive with equipment that's not accessible to the public!!! We as parents do not have the proper automobiles that are equipped-the instructors should be taking this on as that is what we pay them for!! We as parents have the responsibility to hone our children's BTW experience after the basic concepts are taught! Seems this school is backwards and doesn't want to be held accountable for the outcome and wants the students that have driving experience! I do not recommend this school at all if you want to get your children licensed for the first time. It was not very expensive but I suppose, you get what you pay for. Never, ever have I encountered such terrible customer service from a person; I do not understand how this business still exists!! Whether it's "Ken's Driving School" or "1st Breese" (Breeze?) -- stay far away.

I'd also never driven in the city, so I knew I'd need guidance and a skills refresh. Eddy made that process so simple and informative for an anxious driver like me. I was so impressed with the initial lesson that I booked another to practice highway driving and parallel parking. I went through Entourage for my road test day, too, and that was a seamless experience (apart from some DMV delays). Miranda secured the DMV appointment on my behalf and rode through the test course with me twice just before the test, so I was well prepared. I got the license that same day, and I couldn't have done it without the folks at Entourage!

Eddy was my instructor, and I honestly could not have asked for anyone better. He was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, kind, and made driving fun. He carries a mini whiteboard and draws visuals to help students learn which is great for visual learners like myself. He will challenge you as you progress and continue taking lessons which helped build my confidence for different possible scenarios on the road. His primary focus is improving the student's road skills; everything else comes second! He provides really good guidelines about the road rules of Illinois. He would also make us feel comfortable by talking about his learning experience. The USP of this driving school is that, unlike other driving schools, Imran is focused on ensuring his students become excellent, efficient, smart and defensive drivers, no matter what their current level of expertise in driving is! He identifies the areas of improvement and the mindset shift that is needed and gives us more practice in those areas. For example, I am used to the driving attitude from a different country. I had to unlearn those guidelines and shift my mindset to tune to the driving attitude of Illinois. I am really glad I learned driving from Imran sir! Kudos to his efforts and sincerity!!

I had a terrible experience with Redd Driving School. I arrived for my scheduled class at 8:20 AM…read moreafter taking an Uber, only to find the building locked and no one there. I called the number that had originally texted me about the class. At first, there was no answer, but I received a call back shortly after. When I explained I was at the school for class, I was told it had been canceled and that cancellation messages were sent out. However, I never received any such message. Instead of taking accountability, the person on the phone questioned whether I was sure I didn't get a message, asked for my phone number again, and even doubted whether I had confirmed for that day. I explained that I had received the class details from the very number I was speaking with--how else would I have it? What made it worse was that I wasn't the only one left in the dark--another student was also there waiting. If it takes three students to run a class, and cancellation texts were supposedly sent, that means there was a full class planned. This situation was not only careless but entirely unprofessional and inconsiderate. I wouldn't recommend this driving school based on how poorly they handled this.

The first three lesson's went fine, but setting up the next three lesson's were extremely frustrating with no one answering the Oak Park location or returning my call's when I would leave my name and number!!! Finally getting the lesson's set up, the next two went very well with the women instructor's! On lesson six, for some reason the 11am pickup was changed to 3pm and a male instructor showed up without me being notified and treated this 2 hour lesson as if this young lady had never driven and he did not follow the "next instructor needs to cover" from the previous female instructor. When I tried to call the Oak Park location, once again, no one would answer!!! No one would call me back when I left my name and number!!! I drove from my Des Plaines address to the Oak Park location and was told that they would make up the lesson for this young lady who was really getting confidence behind the wheel with one of Nova Driving School's better instructor's with 10 year's experience. On the day of this lesson, I waited at the Stickney address for the young lady to be picked up for her lesson and to make sure she stayed confident for this drive. This male instructor showed up 12 minute's late, and as I walked up to the driver's window to say hello, I was greeted with from this driver, I don't know why I was sent here, this is not my territory. We all have territories that we stay in and I don't know why the office had me come here out of my territory. The young lady was already in the passenger seat of the instructor's car listening to this and I told him it was a makeup lesson for a lesson that did not help this young lady and the Oak Park office was making it up to me. As I got into my van to leave, I got a phone call from this instructor that he would not be able to give the lesson. So I parked my van, walked back to the instructor and I noticed that this young lady was scared to death and was totally discouraged. The instructor told me that the young ladies eye's were red and he didn't feel safe driving with her. We just got back from vacation at Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida and swimming in the hotel swimming pool's with chlorine left some minor redness. The instructor told me that I would get a call from the office shortly and he told me this three different times and then drove off without providing this young lady her lesson! I have not heard back from the Oak Park office at all or from anybody from Nova Driving School! As of today, November 4th,2026, this young lady is without a driver's license, total lose of confidence and you Nova Driving School who promised this young lady and I the Ultimate Beginner Course with woman instructor's for $1,040.00 dollar's, have failed us both miserably!!!
