Kevin walked us through the inspection beforehand and did a thorough job throughout. I'm not a very handy or skilled person when it comes to home improvement. Kevin was great at communicating everything to me in a way that was understandable to everyday people. The inspection report was very detailed and delivered very quickly. I was able to comprehend everything and come up with a to-do list of action items to take once we (hopefully) close the deal on the new home! This home inspection company, specifically Philip, came out to inspect my home, paid for by clients…read morewho were considering purchasing it. I think a goal of a home inspection company should be to leave the home in the same condition as you found it, and this company failed in that respect. We were upset that they were so messy and disrespectful to our home. Just to name a few faults: they left eave doors open that should always be closed, as they were when they arrived. They obviously did not bring a ladder to inspect the drop ceiling/attic of the bathroom, so instead they used my tub as something to stand on and left a big muddy footprint on it, ceiling dust/little bits all over the floor and sink, and the ceiling tile askew. You would think if you make this mess b/c you couldn't bring a ladder, you would at least clean up after yourself! Also, they called our newer, unmistakable VINYL fence a 'wood fence' in the report; it's assuredly vinyl! We paid more for vinyl, not wood. Their talk of suspect asbestos tape in our duct work ruined the 1st bidder's deal and the 1st time buyers backed out. The 2nd home inspection by a different company, ordered by the bidders who ended up buying our property, never mentioned this tape or had one concern about it. (The 2nd home inspection company was respectful and nothing was left messy or out of place.) They labeled our A/C condenser unit as "old and at the end of its useful life". I have receipts and proof that Four Seasons installed a new brand A/C, condenser, and furnace for over $8,000 in May 2014, 5 years prior! Nothing is "old" about it! Please slow down with your inspections. Some things were correct but there were just too many mistakes to even count! And these mistakes can end up having huge implications!

I appreciated that the company upheld strict standards via post-remediation testing. They also gave me advice on how to avoid any issues in the future. Their pricing was fair. Beware of other mold companies that use scare tactics. I had 4 companies come and give quotes and I got ranges from $4500 to $45,000. You can see it was an unfinished basement. Eddie from the start was honest, Knowledgeable and made me feel confident in how the situation would get handled. Use mold solutions! They have great reviews for a reason.

Unacceptable. Also, asked to to speak to another person in regards of the situation and were told the person was in surgery, yet here we are getting a reply from the owner within a few minutes. Got to do better!

I met Beverly several years ago when she came out to do an inspection on a piece of investment…read moreproperty I was considering purchasing. She contracts with Domicile Consulting and I was fortunate enough that they sent her out to do my inspection. The realtor I had at the time had recommended Domicile because of their stellar reputation. I ended up not buying that piece of property based on Beverly's inspection. During that initial inspection I found Beverly extremely knowledgable and thorough. She doesn't just conduct the inspection in silence like a lot of inspectors. She encourages her clients to engage in the process. We walked around with her as she conducted the inspection and she pointed everything she felt was noteworthy. She has a way with people and can explain foreign concepts in layman's terms. She really impressed me, my sister and our mom that day. My mom was especially taken with Beverly and would casually make reference to her over the years if something related to home improvement came up. Fast forward to present day... I purchased a condo last year and made the mistake of hiring someone else to do the inspection. We started having an issue that really concerned me so I decided to have another inspection done. I called Beverly directly this time rather than going through Domicile Consulting. Beverly came out and was just as detailed as she'd been during that first inspection. She walked us through the entire unit pointing out the how, what and why... She even took the time to show me how to change the filter in my humidifier and explained why it was important to change it regularly. She took photos and had a thermal imaging camera on hand to identify potential moisture issues. She also had a backpack full of tools at her disposal and was ready to use them if necessary. When my previous inspector surveyed my current property he refused to examine the roof or any of the common areas in the building. He said he could only examine inside of the unit. When I mentioned this to Beverly she seemed surprised. She said that she always examines the entire property even if is a condo building. Beverly noted several things that she felt the previous inspector missed and either told us how to repair it or who to call in order to have it serviced by a professional. I honestly can't say enough about Beverly. She truly goes above and beyond the call of duty for her clients. You can tell that it's not about the money for her. She knows her business and is happy to share that knowledge. I jokingly told her that I wanted to be her apprentice just so I could learn from her! I've already told several neighbors about her and will continue to mention her name whenever someone is looking to have a home inspection completed.
