So thankful for Top Dog automotive! My daughter had a horrible grinding noise in the front right tire area. We thought it was going to require new brakes or worse - but Top Dog mechanic was totally honest and fixed it for $50 bucks! Easily could have told her that it was brakes or axel or something- but instead fixed the real problem in minutes! Like CFA they are closed on Sunday but you know it's going to be the best service so it's worth the wait until Monday!!! Awesome place - Angel is so polite and patient on the phone too. Came in without an appointment for what I thought were multiple exhaust leaks. Found out I only had one leak and missing two clamps. Could have easily told me I had more leaks than I did and I wouldn't have been none the wiser. In and out in less than an hour. Great folks. read more

Honestly I wish I could leave 1 star. Tried to get a customer exhaust made for my Infiniti, they failed. It has exhaust leaks everywhere causing check engine light code and fail emissions. More air was coming out underneath the car then through the exhaust system. Filed complaint with better business bureau and had dispute filled with American Express. Mulitiple times to try and fix the exhaust they just blew me off and would say come back on another day or in a few hours. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Look at the pictures. read more

I bought a truck out of town with a bad kick down cable so I needed to leave it with an untested garage for the repair - I brought it here. I thought they replaced the cable but all they did was free it (which was pointless because it was frayed & stretched). This "repair" never should've been made. It was a waste of their time & my money. They did a good job fixing my wiring and the staff is very friendly so overall it's not a bad garage but I'm disappointed that they could not recognize that freeing that cable was utterly pointless. I had other repairs they could've done for my money. My impression is not that they're malicious, but that they didn't know any better, so I'd advise not taking your vehicle there for any transmission related problems. read more

Had a very pleasant experience here while renting a Penske truck with car hitch for our long-distance move from GA to NY. The guy there was extraordinarily nice and helpful. The truck renting process was as smooth as can be. He even suggested my fiancé come back the next day to pick up the hitch for the car, as it would be easier for us to attach it to the truck right before take off. So, we came back the next day, and the guy helping us the previous day CAME IN on HIS DAY OFF to help us install the hitch correctly. I was in shock. That's southern hospitality at its finest. But most of all, it's just plain nice and refreshing. I am sorry I cannot recall your name, but thank you for helping us travel with confidence!!! read more

We've been called The Lazy Person's Auto Repair Shop for a good reason -- because we make everything so easy. You don't have to even think about it when you bring us your car. Yeah, 'cause they can just make up solutions and over charge you w/ a smile, only to get home and see that the check engine light is still on and the vehicle is having the same problems. ??? read more

Don't do it. They have a mice problem in the storage units and rude service. While I've never had car work done there, they're also known around town for selectively scamming on auto repairs. Spend a little extra money, and it'll save you in the long run for storage. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would. My wife brought our car in because the "Check Engine" light was on. We were quoted $999.12 for the fix. Top Dog cited the following engine error codes: -P0128 (coolant thermostat operating below threshold) -P0300 (random multiple misfire) -P0303 (cylinder 3 misfire). Since the car had no noticeable problems while driving it, this didn't seem right. We took it to 3 other shops to run the diagnostics and ALL 3 found only code P0128. Top Dog refused to give us our money back for the "hour of labor" that took the other shops 5 minutes to do. We added some coolant (which was a little low) and the light went off. I feel that we were lied to and I'm glad we took our business elsewhere. I think these people are selective scammers. read more

I'm going to go ahead and apologize(to the people who have gotten screwed over from this place since i did last year) for not writing a review earlier. Early last year the clutch went out in my 2007 ford f150 which made my truck not drivable, so I had to get it towed to be fixed. Since I was a college student and didn't have any money, I looked up the closest auto repair near me, which happened to be this place(top dog complete auto repair). I read the reviews(which all said great things about this horrible place) and decided that I would try them out and save myself some money on the tow bill since they were only 1 mile from my home. Ohhhhh what a horrible decision I made!!! I got my truck up there and left it with them to check it out and get me a quote. I knew it was gonna be expensive so I went with their $1500.00 dollar quote and told them to fix it. The lady that answered the phone and handled the front desk was soo nice I just knew they were gonna treat me right. So 4-5 days later my master cylinder, slave cylinder, and whatever else had to be replaced was done and I went and picked up my truck. The wonderful lady at the front desk was happy to take my money and handed me my keys and I was out the door. I got in my truck and when I pulled out of the parking lot and shifted, or at least tried to shift my truck into second gear the transmission made a horrible grinding noise and slammed into second gear. NOTHING was ever wrong with my transmission before so I obviously turned right around and drove right back into the parking lot. I walked right back in to this horrible place(top dog complete auto repair) and talked to the wonderful and cheerful lady that I had just spoken with 3 minutes before and told her what was going on. She told me to leave the truck there AGAIN and she would have their lying mechanic take another look at it and see if he had "left something out", so I did just that and went home waiting for them to call me back. The next day she told me the mechanic had taken a look at it and wanted me to come talk to him. I went back up there and the mechanic met me a $2300.00 dollar quote to replace my transmission. He said that whatever had messed up was going to be $900 dollars to fix and since he was going to already have the transmission off I might as well replace every one of the parts in each gear because when one goes the rest of them could go and it was only $1700.00 to replace all of them since the majority of the cost was labor in having to remove the transmission. THEN he went on to tell me that a new transmission was only $2300.00 so that was what he recommended I do. HAHA are you kidding me?! I was pissed. I let him know that my truck had never done that before he fixed my clutch problem and he replied with "well since the truck had to be towed up here, we don't really know if it did that before or not since I couldn't test drive it and there is nothing we can do except what I quoted you." So does that mean he was calling me a liar?! Needless to say I am still driving my truck to this day with the second gear messed up and only because this place doesn't honor what they say on their website about the 100% guarantee to fix any problem and probably were just trying to get more money out of my poor ass. DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER CARE. MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. HORRIBLEEEEEEE PLACEEEEEEE BEWARE. I CANNOT EXPRESS THIS ENOUGH.
