Great hot dogs! They use Nathan's , which in my opinion, are the best! They have lots of choices and variations. Definitely recommend!

Blue Circles were prolific in Knoxville when I was growing up. They had small hamburgers/cheeseburgers on round buns. They had displays of donuts on the counter and served your meal on an oval china plate. I remember them fondly and when they went out of business in Knoxville years ago, my father bought their donut machine at auction. Thanks to the staff at the Blue Circle in Bristol, TN for a wonderful meal and a trip down memory lane. Follow me on Yelp for more places to see and eat in East Tennessee.

We recently moved back to the area (Oct 2024) & I decided to show my worker this delightful & charming burger restaurant. I only meant to order a few sliders so he could taste how good they were. While we were waiting, I mentioned to him that it's better than Krystal's or White Castle. As we left, I didn't pay attention to the bag they gave my friend (supposed to have just a few sliders). Instead, Blue Circle had surprised us with nearly a dozen sliders simply because I had told them that my friend was new to town. What a delicious surprise! Blue Circle, thank you for treating us special, you've gained 2 loyal families for life.

The ladies working inside were extremely friendly and helpful, which was a great start. Their menu is incredibly unique and fun, featuring a wide variety of amazing burgers. As a fan of spicy food, I was pleased to see several options that catered to my taste. My server took the time to explain how they roast hot peppers to create their own unique blend, which I found very impressive. I decided to go with the Cold, Cold Heart burger, primarily because it included jalapeños. Although tempted by the Fire God Burger, the combination of scorpion and ghost peppers seemed a bit too intense for me. My burger was prepared quickly while I watched from the counter, which was a nice touch. The fries that accompanied it were excellent--slightly thicker than regular fries with a delightful seasoning. They were served piping hot and crispy. The highlight was definitely the burger itself. It was outstanding! The jalapeños added a lovely flavor without being overly spicy, and the bun was exceptional--soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. The meat was substantial and perfectly cooked. For condiments, they offer squeeze bottles from the fridge upon request. I opted for mayo on my burger and experimented with ketchup and mustard separately to see which I preferred. Honestly, the burger was delicious with or without the additional condiments. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend stopping in. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Then by the time you drive around to the other side, they collect payment and hand you your food. It really is sudden service. We ordered: Double with cheese for $7.80 Patty melt $5 Large frenchie fry $3.50 Large Dr. Enuf $2.80 Strawberry milkshake $3.40 Cotton candy milkshake $3.40 Total $28.30 after tax. It was a lot of food!!! We couldn't resist because we aren't usually near a Pal's so we wanted to try everything. The French fries were hot and fresh, a bit on the salty side but still delicious. The seasoning they put on their fries are different from other fast food places. We probably could have gotten away with sharing the double with cheese; it's that big! Patty melt was good; it came with a sauce kinda similar to Big Mac sauce. I didn't care for the Dr Enuf but my husband liked it. It kinda has a vitamin flavor to it? Like flintstone vitamins in liquid form lol. Milkshakes were alright; great value for the amount they give. One thing to note, they don't have a dine in option; you have to eat inside your car or park and stand outside to eat. Nowhere to sit.

Pal's is one of my favorite Bristol-area stops on road trips between my hometown and my new town…read more Truthfully, Pal's is the reason I plan my gas and food break there at all. It feels like a small ritual on the highway, the kind of place that turns a routine stop into something warm and familiar. There's something about Pal's that takes me back to being a kid, riding with my dad to a tiny drive-thru burger spot where the food was simple, fast, and made with care. This place carries that same spirit. The service is fast but still welcoming. I parked in the small lot that runs parallel to the drive-thru and enjoyed my meal from the car, watching the steady flow of customers come and go. My order was a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a vanilla milkshake. The food was fresh, tasty, and made for me... a classic drive-thru. The highlight, though, was a small moment of kindness. The young man at the window spotted my puppy and offered her a dog treat, which instantly made the stop feel even more personal and welcoming. Little gestures like that turn a quick meal into a memory. Pal's is clean, simple, and purely nostalgic. No frills, no fuss, just good food, friendly service, and the comforting feeling of a roadside tradition that understands exactly what travelers need.
