What mattered most is that Racine answered my call promptly. I had given him very short notice. It was a Friday and I needed the chairs for Sunday. He was able to help me out. He was pleasant and professional. I only needed a few chairs. What was really nice is that Racine allowed me to pick up the chairs and return them. These were the fan back folding chairs. They were in good condition and were good quality chairs. I had contacted another company twice and they never responded. So, when Racine answered the phone and said yes and walked me through what to do, I really appreciated it. I returned the chairs on Monday in the same good quality. I highly recommend Diamond Events Rentals. I will use them again and will tell all my friends about them.

We worked things out over the phone and I received the excellent customer service I have experienced with him in the past. I was going to delete the original bad review but I feel that people should see how the company is quick to respond and work things out. On June 7, 2020 I had booked Super Slide Bounce House Combo w/ Pool, 8' Tables (x2), Folding Chairs (x2), Snow Cone Machine, and Giant Jenga from them for my son's 10th birthday. I paid $159.67 half of the rental cost. I rented it for two days from June 27th at noon to June 28th at 8pm. Michael Salazar was so kind to me when doing the booking. A week before the date set up COVID started to get worse again in Houston and we decided to cancel the party. Again, Michael was kind. Told me that normally they would put a time limit of 1 year to rebook but because of COVID they would give me another year. So I was supposed to have until the end of June 2022. The beginning of June I get a phone call from a lady and she told me I had to use it by the end of the month. I explained that we were in the middle of track season and I didn't know when we might actually be available. I told her what Michael had told me. I tried to explain to her that I had lost my job in April of 2020 and I was still not working and wasn't sure when I would be again. Long story short I basically felt forced to book it again for my son's upcoming birthday knowing I might not have the remaining half of the balance. So June 13th I found out my unemployment for some reason had ended. I tried to call them and see about rescheduling or pushing it out like Michael and I had talked about. No return call. I emailed them. No response. I have called numerous times from the 14th to today and no response. So pretty much this company has taken my deposit and refuses to call me back. I want to reschedule with them but they won't let me. Times have been hard for all of us this past year but taking advantage of people under the circumstances is inexcusable in my eyes.

She was very friendly, and even though she recognized me from my initial review, she was patient enough with me to explain what happened during my first visit. I explained that the prices for the tables had changed from 6.95 to 8 she pointed out that the table prices on her website were the same as those she had charged me. (They were 6.95 on the website the last time we had reviewed them before the rental.) When I explained that I couldn't find the terms she pointed to her website and under the "About" tab were the terms and conditions. She also placed another hyperlink at the bottom of a 30 plus list of hyperlinks on her main page. And again under quick links at the bottom of the page. She also pointed out that her website is under construction and apologized that it wasn't clear. It should be noted that the Credit Card surcharge is for "over-the-phone" transactions and we did ours face-to-face so there shouldn't have been any surcharge. Because of her customer service, I felt obliged to add another star to the review. But until we can come to an agreement about the surcharge and the website is updated to be made more clear, I can't give the establishment three stars.
