For many years Top China has been my go to place for top notch Chinese take out in Salisbury. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is my comfort food, while the General Tso's Chicken never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, and my order is usually ready very quickly. Top China is a family owned restaurant, and over the years it has been nice watching the kids grow up and start participating in the family business, and family members immigrate and become part of the team. You know your money is going to something special! read more

Good food and quick service. This is the place my family will always go to for grwT Chinese food.

always good enough. it scratched the cheap chinese take out itch and pretty affordable if thta.. the place is for sure take out only because the inside is not inviting or nice in anyway. the service has always been very to the point and i like that read more

Boneless ribs and sweet and sour pork are always on point. Never had a bad experience ordering from them.

I asked for yellow rice and got brown rice when I called and told her she said it's the same thing with an attitude the chicken wings tasted like they were in old grease lo mien was dry. read more

wow please don't go to this place this is the worse place I ever have gone to .tufu was half way cook the rice since old and the taste of the food just made me vomit this place is grosss and worse of all dirty and the Chinese lady try to over charge me for a nasty plate I didn't even eat as it just made me sick to just look and just the taste of it dont recommend it at all .on top on got sick from my stomach on the way home read more

It is just, okay. I see it all the time when I go to Food Lion and finally decided to try it. We got several things to try and none of it was worth going back for again. I love chinese food and it is so convenient for me so I was hoping to love it but not even close. I wont get a hankering for anything from here. I will continue to go to Kannapolis to my fave place. Their fried rice was completely unedible, disgusting. For a chinese place it was the weirdest fried rice with some kind of weird spices sort of like Indian food. I would not recommend, there is nothing Top about this place. Search around town, much better places out there. April, 2021. read more

I've tried this place before in the past and it was terrible. It had signs recently that it was under new owners so we gave it a chance we got DoorDash from there and it was absolutely terrible. My shrimp was all raw. How do you fuck up fried shrimp I don't know, but I was biting into batter, my fried rice was literally old stank rice with soy sauce no veggies no egg nothing it wasn't even edible and I'm being nice when I say that I spent $60 on crap food that we can't even eat I highly doubt their new owners, and we will never eat there again. read more

Today was my first and last visit. Ordered Kung Po Chicken and got small gristle chicken bits instead of chicken portions. Hard dried as if they were leftovers in the bottom of the pan. I picked them out and ate the rice and veggies. Extremely disappointed! Actually no stars is appropriate read more

I just got my order from here, the chickens hot but the rice is cold....how that work? Gross tbh

This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had! Absolutely zero flavor and the gal that took our order was rude and rushing off the phone! Also, we said no onions in one of our dishes and it was inundated with onions :( HUGE waste of $$$ read more

This is a restaurant we visit a couple of times a month. I have never had a complaint. I will comment on the Shrimp Fried Rice. The shrimp are big and numerous. You are never looking for shrimp amongst the quantity of rice. The egg rolls are ever so good. The staff is very courteous and the price is a good value. read more

l was extremely disappointed with TOP CHINA, first of all when l called in to ask questions about a combination meal, the associate on the phone was very patient in explaining what l asked BUT whomever was in the background was very inpatient and extremely RUDE to say the least, l spent $63 and they didnt even give me utensils to eat with, she told my husband not to put any in my order (the associate in the background) I'm assuming it was the owner or manager, whether l wanted them or not, they should have put them in there. l wish l knew the person that l was talking to on the phone, l would go in and personally TIP HER because she was very polite to me BUT the one in the background stating WHAT DOES SHE WANT on the phone spoiled it for everyone, and I'm not cheap l am a tipper, l want order from here again in the future. read more

The food is great and portions are good. I love it! They are very nice. Restaurant is kinda out dated but who cares bc the food is lit read more

Top China - Honey Chicken & Pork Fried Rice - Chinese Near Me - Salisbury, North Carolina

During the pandemic it was really wierd going to eat. Top China once back opened still served beautiful food that is tasty and hot. We love it but so expensive for us to eat there. It was difficult to go as often as we want. Many restaurants have increased their prices and have less servers but as customers we need to be understanding. But although it is busy and you are short there is no excuse for forgetting items or not including items on the bill or sauces getting forgotten. It is maddening to get a 35.00 meal home and no egg rolls , no soy sauce, no duck sauce. I go past 2 Chinese takeout to get your food please appreciate my business. read more

Food is alright and the cost if high for the quantity. I believe its takeout only now also.

Ordered for the first time with Door Dash. My General Two's chicken was by far one of the best I've ever eaten. It was spicy (as mentioned on the menu) which I loved. The rice is flavorful and tender. I would highly recommend to anyone without reservations. We just moved to the area in December wind they have a new "regular" customer in us. Please give them a try if you like good Chinese read more

Best General Tso's chicken anywhere Great food, clean restaurant & good service Plenty of parking read more

Terrible. We ordered Mongolian beef and when we got home it was more like Mongolian onions. Only found about five slivers of beef in a sea of onions. Absolutely terrible. read more

Never will I ever eat there again. They charged me to much for the food and it had no taste. I came in a d the girl was on the phone e and did not even a knowledge me. A man waited on us and rushed us and was rude. I had eaten there other times and it was good but, never again! read more

I've been on yelp for years. But this is my first review in eons. I felt compelled to review this meal!! I ordered General Tso's via a local delivery service (Gina's who is awesome by the way). Food was delivered hot but the meal was inedible. Greasy! Tasted like the chicken had been cooked hours ago and only reheated with the sauce. The rice tasted like it had been warmed on a grill with old burnt grease. Nothing was redeemable about the meal except the cheap price....now I see why. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I WOULD! They're only open for take out (from a window they made in the front door) So you have to order from the sidewalk. No big deal. I walk up to the window, grab a menu from the table in front of the window, and proceed to tell the 8 YEAR OLD BOY..... what I would like. He says "One second," and goes back to the kitchen where I can hear a lady (presumably his mother) yelling something in their native language. The boy comes back and tells me that it's easier if I order online. Mind you... this is a child I'm talking to, so I'm trying not to loose my temper to a child. I said "I just want to order my dinner. I'm standing here at your window. I can't order???" He says "No, you have to order online, that way we don't have to write anything down." I said "Tell your MOTHER I can go somewhere else. This is ridiculous and not worth my time!" How do you run a business like that?!?! I WONT BE BACK, and I hope this horrible review helps you too. read more

Def ain't the prettiest place but its convenient. I eat a lot of mediocre Chinese food and this chicken and broccoli didn't even stand up to those. I'll try it again, because I need a cheap go to Chinese lunch special close to the office, but I fear, I may have to look elsewhere. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The food is nasty I order shrimp and broccoli with brown sauce and I get all the way home and it's no sauce on my food. Also it's a child working the front that I had to repeat my order like 4 times meanwhile the mom or grandma standing in the corner and won't help him. This restaurant is a joke. I will never eat here again read more

Horrible service. I ordered teriyaki chicken and it was my first time ordering and I didn't know that they served it with vegetables. I just wanted chicken and rice. When I get my food I check the bag and it's pretty much all vegetables and a little bit of chicken so I take it back and I tell them that I didn't know that they came with vegetables and I asked if they could redo my order and they said they couldn't and they said that I should've told them when I ordered it that I didn't want vegetables. They wanted to charge me the same amount again for just chicken and it wasn't even a lot they were going to give me. She proceeded to tell me that for them to give me a lot of chicken it would cost a lot because she said that chicken cost a lot of money. I don't recommend you coming to this place their prices are high for the amount of food they give you. read more

Terrible food, don't eat there!! Orange chicken was terrible, over cooked, sauce didn't even taste like orange and had a bad smell to it, I literally took 3 bites and threw my food in the trash and walked out! read more

Love their general tso tofu! Delicious. I get it every time. Best in Salisbury. It's soft not overcooked like so many other places. I also get broccoli and mushrooms with white rice and veggie may fun. Closed on Sundays :( read more

Food was decent, fried rice was a bland though. The interior is clean and comfortable. Price is reasonable. Great selection of menu items and drinks. No buffet which was fine. Staff a little rude but that's minor. Must buy more than $6.00 to use a card. read more

Top China is awesome! My husband and I eat there at least once a week. Singapore Chow Mei Fun and the Curried Chicken add Broccoli and shrimp are our favorites. Also, the Egg Drop Wanton soup, Chicken Wings, Pork and Mushrooms and Egg Foo Young! People, you can go anywhere and get the General Zhao's Chicken, stretch your horizons a bit, try something different! This place is awesome! read more

I just recently discovered this place (recently moved here). I have not physically been there, I have just called in delivery orders. The times I have called, the staff have been very nice. Delivery was fairly quick and the food arrived hot. Taste wise, food is decent. I absolutely love their steamed dumplings. Price wise, pretty comparable to other places. I will order from them again. read more

There customer service was terrible, they were very inpatient in explaining to me what l needed to know, so l ended up with something l didn't want or like, they had enough black pepper in it to start a fire, and to top it off, they, placed my food in a paper bag, instead of plastic, so the juice saturated the bottom, causing my food to fall out the bag, leaving me with half of what l order, l was debating a tip l am glad l didn't, if l could l would stop the payment will never go back, it's a shame that customer service is no longer a issue, just making money..... read more

This place is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! The place next door to it (which is awesome) was super packed so we decided to go here instead. This is the most PATHETIC EXCUSE for a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the General Tso Chicken and it legit tasted like metal burnt pan and NO CHICKEN FLAVOR ( was it even chicken we will never know ) And then when I asked for them to remake it the said " We don't refund or exchange" I never asked for either of those I asked for my food to be remade and instead of doing that they ignored me and went to the back and all talked about it then watched as I didn't eat the food. I should call the FDA. Not including all the tables and high chairs were sticky like they have never been cleaned since being purchased. PleAse don't waste your time coming to this rat hole. Go to WONGS Chinese in down town salisbury .. way better quality of food and the owner and her husband are the sweetest. read more
