When things started to take on a life of their own, we hired Katie to come on board and see our vision through. She probably saved our soon-to-be-marriage. We were going crazy with planning, and we couldn't possibly handle all of the little details ourselves. Enter Katie. Not only did she help us maintain our sanity, but she also has amazing style. The "look" of our wedding was very, very important to us. We didn't trust anyone else to interpret our day except Katie, and that trust wasn't misplaced. Everyone said that our wedding decor was some of the coolest they'd ever seen. Katie took our ideas and perfected them! She listened to our wants and needs. She never made us feel like a burden. She had 2-hour long email conversations with me about doilies. As a wedding professional myself (I'm a photographer), I've seen my fair share of terrible coordinators. Katie is a shining star, and there is no one else with her dedication and her style in Chicago. I can't even begin to express what a smart investment Katie is. Hire her... FAST!

Our wedding was a little unusual in that we live and were having the wedding in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was a little nervous at first with MDE being in Chicago and us being in Hawaii. After starting to work with the ladies, Emily Weinstein in particular, my doubts went away after about 30 seconds. We worked with MDE for over a year, and it couldn't have been more of a wonderful experience. MDE had never thrown a wedding in Hawaii but you would have never known it. The research, recommendations and relationships they made with the Hawaiian vendors rivals any planner who is actually based in Hawaii. Not only was the wedding far from where they are based in Chicago but it was also a Jewish/Military wedding. MDE understood how we wanted to the wedding to look and made it come to life. They were always calm, collective and supportive even when things got a little stressful due to the fact that the groom was deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months of the planning. They were extremely organized, helpful, detail orientated and through with every detail whether it be big or small. Not only were they excellent with their planning but you got the sense from all three women, Michelle, Emily and Sterling that they really cared about you. They wanted the best for you and wanted to make a truly special day for you. I feel like we have this bond that will remain long after the wedding. They created a dream wedding for us and I am so sad that its over. I HIGHLY recommend using MDE for any of your big events. You will not only have a exquisite event but you will also work with planners who truly care about you. MIss you girls! Come and visit again soon!

I don't know how to put into words how incredibly talented, professional, organized hardworking and kind Mallory is (I could go on and on!!). We met with several different planners but the moment I met Mallory I knew she was our girl! Her high energy and positivity immediately took away my anxiety about planning such a special and important life event! My mom was pretty reluctant about hiring a wedding planner but within a few weeks of working with Mallory my mom couldn't stop talking about the fact that she has no idea how we would have planned the wedding without her. Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams and we owe it all to Mallory's incredibly hard work. There are so many reasons that Mallory is such an incredible wedding planner but to name a few.... 1. She is incredibly knowledgeable - Mallory has so much experience in the industry and always had great recommendations and solutions to whatever roadblocks we ran into. She understands how all the players in the industry work together and helps to make sure that the planning process and day of will run as smoothly as possible. 2. She makes it stress free - She took all the hard work and stressful parts of wedding planning out of the equation for us so we could focus on fun stuff. From finding vendors and getting proposals to budgeting and making sure we were staying on track with vendor contracts and payments she was always SO on top of it all. We got all the vendors we wanted because Mallory made sure we were reaching out to them in a timely manner before they booked up. She is insanely organized and on top of things so we never had to worry about where we were at in the planning process or what we should be doing next. 3. She gets you - Mallory doesn't just find great vendors, she finds vendors that are going to be great for YOU. She takes such a careful and personal approach to finding vendors that are right for your vision and budget. She truly created the most epic vendor dream team for us because she really took the time to understand how we envisioned each piece of our big day. Every vendor we worked with was above and beyond our wildest dreams and that is because Mallory took the time help us hand select the right team of people to execute our wedding day. 4. She helps with the hard conversations & decisions - Your wedding planner may have to be part of some intimate and maybe even touchy family conversations so you want to hire someone who you feel comfortable including in those conversations and confiding in. Mallory not only made us feel comfortable discussing these things with her but she helped us work through solutions that would make everyone happy! 5. She is patient & resilient - We were definitely not the easiest client in the world but Mallory never made us feel like we were being difficult or making things hard on her. She was so patient with us and no matter what task/challenge we threw at her she got it done or figured it out for us. She is truly one of the hardest working people I have ever met. 6. You won't worry about a single thing the day of your wedding - My mom and I are both pretty anxious, type A people and everyone (including ourselves) were pretty shocked at how relaxed we both were the entire day. We owe that all to Mallory. My husband and I and our families had not a single worry in the world because Mallory handled absolutely every last detail of the day and we were able to enjoy every moment together. I could go on and on about how amazing Mallory is. I would hire here again and again in a heartbeat. I wish she could organize my everyday life the way she organized and executed our wedding so perfectly. On top of it all, Mallory became a good friend through the process because she was there as a sounding board and a person to vent to about literally EVERYTHING from silly little wedding details to non-wedding related stressors like my job! We love you SO much, Mallory! Thank you for making our day an absolute dream come true!

While working with Marcia she took so much stress iff of my shoulders I began to enjoy the process. She was always available to answer questions no matter what time of night or day of the week. I hired Tiffany as my wedding planner for my upcoming destination. Although my future husband and I are not getting married until February 2020, I have already seen the hard work that she puts into weddings. In this short time that we have been engaged, she has managed to help me locate a resort, wedding venue, provided several photographers for me to choose from, and has located a videographer. For all of these potential vendors she has secured their pricing and/or contracts and has been the main contact person with them. Essentially, I've had to do nothing. So far, this planning process has been easy breezy. But let's talk about my engagement party. My future hubby and I planned an engagement party in order for our families to officially meet. The party was everything!!!! Although not required, Tiffany managed to come to the party. Not only did she come, but she couldn't help but to make sure everything was in place and executed perfectly. This shows her dedication to her brides. In no way was she required to come to the party, but not only did she come, she made sure that I stayed stress free. Tiffany's level of professionalism is unprecedented. She makes her brides a priority and her ultimate goal is to execute beautiful weddings while keeping the couple happy and stress free. So far, she and her team have accomplished this beyond my expectations. I am so thankful to have her as my planner and am looking forward to this entire planning process.
