Fear no more. This is the spot to get the treatment you didn't know you needed. I just got back from hiking Half Dome in Yosemite and tried their Athletic Treatment for the first time. Worth every penny. By the end, the soreness in my feet was gone, and I couldn't stop staring at my toes on the walk back--they were actually shiny. I didn't even know toes could do that. I'm a chronic nail biter and I also work with my hands a lot so my fingers get banged up at work. I decided to get a manicure to hopefully keep my mind off biting. It was my first manicure so I didn't know what to expect really. The staff were really welcoming and the manicurist was very professional. She explained what she was doing and gave me options on what I wanted. The place was really cozy inside, chill music, comfy chairs and they gave me a nice cold drink. I'm no hand model for sure, but my nails haven't looked this good in over a decade. I'll be back for sure, and maybe I'll add a pedicure next time. read more

Worst mani/pedi I've ever had in my life. Took 3hrs for nothing special just a regular mani/pedi. I have a high pain tolerance and I got severely cut during the service, but didn't realize how bad the cut was until I made it home. The cut wouldn't stop bleeding the rest of the day, and I also bled through the entire rest of the service. Accidents happen but it was a severe injury. An entire chunk of my skin was almost completely clipped off, it was barely hanging on. Unfortunately, the mani/pedi was entirely poor work. Cuticles untouched, poor nail polish job, jagged edges on pedicure. I've never left a bad review, so just think twice about coming here. I don't mind paying a good amount of money for a great service, but I payed $150 (and tipped) for a really poor 3hr mani/pedi no gel, no Russian, nothing just regular. Also, they only have "DazzleDry" polish in 15 colors or so, and it chipped within 2 days. I'm seriously not fussy at all. But I'm just giving my honest experience in case someone was looking for the kind of experience that I was looking for. Wish them the best. read more

Stopped by toolbox for the first time today. I was looking for extra TLC for my overworked feet and a "typical pedicure" from any other salon wasn't going to cut it. I got the athletic treatment at toolbox and the amount of massage time combined with the foot soak, hot stones, hot towels, and oils was out of this world. And I felt that there was more attention to detail on my cuticles, nail cutting, calluses than I ever had before. I also really appreciated the non toxic element of toolbox. Few tips if your going for the first time here -Go get a pedicure, yes get a PRE PEDICURE job done before you go to your appointment here (toolbox). because if you go with some long nails or you have a bad nail, they uncomfortably do the job but with a face like if they're disgusted, and they will take less time with you session cause of that just go get it over with I GUESS THEY EXPECT YOU TO GO WITH PERFECT NAILS -Be ready to feel a little awkward cause the guy in front/cashier is very stingy and will offer you a drink but after when it's time to pay he will REQUIRE YOU TO GIVE A TIP, Yes he doesn't ask he REQUIRES for THE TIP. - Service wise I got cut 2 times well 3 but one was minor - Job looked like it was half done - Person that was doing my nail didn't comunícate with me whatsoever (yes she speaks English) and everyone else was laughing and having a good time. - Lastly they use the same utensils that you can get from target, they don't use callus remover or foot scrubber or Nail drill sets nothing of that.
