The lady who performed my waxing was very knowledgeable and made it as comfortable as possible. If you have you know you know, it wasnt painless at all, it hurt like %$#@!. On Jan. 15, 2026, at my pedicure appointment, the young lady doesn't ask me and starts putting some kind of goop on my toenails before painting them. Says it's because my toenail is damaged. (True, as This is from each spa filing "the top" of my nail. I'm actually in the process of growing them out, so I told her not to file the top of my nail.) Finally, after drying for at least 15 minutes, I noticed my big toe has like a bubble under it that moves around when touched. She finally comes back after 15 minutes. And I inform her she needs to repaint that toenail. She does. // I wore sandals for the next 3-4 hours to eat dinner that evening in 40° weather so that they would dry completely. Then sleep over night and wore socks & boots all day. My wonderful future daughter-in-law bought me these cute new slippers. That pic is what my nails look like 24 hours later. Then I put closed toe leather flat shoes on and wore for rehearsal dinner. The next picture is the next morning, 36+ hours later. I regret not making an appointment with my normal spa at home for polish that would not get damaged, before coming to Destin and trying this spa. Perhaps it was the inexperienced staff member, I don't know. I picked the China Glaze polish. I think it was the goop.
