Yesterday I received a custom order of beautiful dresses and skirts from Nigeria that I had been…read moreexcitedly waiting on since I ordered them on Black Friday in November! As I ripped open the box I mentally pictured me wearing each article of clothing and swished and swayed in front of my mirror. After trying on each item, I quickly placed it to the side to try on the next! My excitement turned into panic when I put on my dress and tugged on the zipper that wouldn't budge past my lower back [WTH (heck)?!?!]. I grabbed my tape measurement and confirmed my measurements were still the same. At 125lbs I knew I couldn't stand to lose 10 more to get into the dress so I decided to visit a local seamstress to have the sides of the dress let out. As is custom when looking for "Recommendations", I sent out a request on Facebook and within seconds I was told to visit "Quality Embroidery". I called and spoke with Irma who said that I could bring the dresses in immediately. Once there, I tried on both dresses and learned that I only needed a little help zipping one of the dresses up -- problem solved! On the second dress we were not so lucky as the dress was too small in the bust area. After some thought, Irma asked if she could measure the dresses and "lo and behold" we quickly determined the dress was actually made smaller than my original request! She looked at me with a "know all things Seamstress" look and said, "I think you deserve a refund". She held her measuring tape over the dresses for comparison and I took photos and sent them to the seamstress in Nigeria right in front of her! Today, I received a response on Etsy from the seamstress who eventually conceded that the dress was smaller than intended and she is remaking the dress for free! I agreed to pay the shipping of the new dress because she simply asked that I gift the dress to a loved one that was able to wear it! I am so glad that I visited Quality Embroidery and highly recommend their services to all! Until the next alterations emergency!

I am very happy with the work that Irma did for me. She fixed both quickly, the work was very well done, and the price was better than two other quotes i got. Any more sewing projects i have before i leave San Angelo will definitely go to Quality Embroidery!

I have used this location for several years withing the past year. I have had a shirt lost,…read moremultiple pairs of slacks ruined with a black substance stained on them from this cleaners, pretty much every time I take jeans to be starched and pressed they are pressed with multiple wrinkles up and done the leg of the jeans and multiple pairs with have the bottom cuff folded up and creased in awkward positions. Their prices are lower than other places in town but it seems that you get what you pay for. I will not be giving my business to Holiday Cleaners anymore.

I took four panels of curtains to have them remove stains and dry clean. When, I went to pick up…read morethe curtains, they where still stained and smelled dirty. According to them and to the manager they had worked n them twice to remove the stains. A complete lie because in front of the guy at the business I scrapped off the dirt with my finger tips. They agree to run it one more time. Pick up my curtains for the second time to see the same stains, dirt and smell. Not to mention the awful ironing that bended the seam the first time was still there. Call the manager and no help just a waste of money. Would never do business with them again! If I could give zero stars I would. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. If you think you can go to another holiday cleaners don't its all the same horrible cleaning business don't be fooled by the nice clerk at the desk.

I went to pick them up on Thursday and was told I had to sign a release to have them done, so I did. I just called to find out if they were done, and was told that the lady was "doing them" and they won't be done until Monday. I asked why, and she let me talk to the lady who was taking care of them. This woman told me that she had to do all the blankets, clothes, etc. before my pillows, although I can't imagine why because it shouldn't matter. Neither woman was very kind, they were both pretty rude. I have two problems with this place. Number one, the lady at the desk has absolutely no idea what she's doing. She didn't have me sign a release on Wednesday when I brought my pillows in, and she never asked for my phone number or anything else in case I had any problems. Secondly, if they didn't know when they could get them done, they should have said so and I would have taken them elsewhere. I won't take anything to this place for dry cleaning again, and I don't recommend anyone else does either.

We've used this place three times to have my husband's Blues drycleaned. The first and second times…read morethey were just "okay," but they're a minute down the road from us right now and so we went back. This last time was awful! They basically just washed the shirts and pants and didn't press them at all! His uniforms are all wrinkly and looked horrible! He wound up ironing them himself when we got home. What's the point of taking your clothing somewhere (especially, when they have commercials saying they're awesome) when you end up having to fix their mistakes? We won't be going back and hopefully can find someone better in town who knows how to press a shirt. Not to mention, the woman who's been there when we drop everything off isn't the most pleasant.
