sometimes when I go into Tony's smoke shop, I'm not sure what I want, he's always so helpful in helping me with my decision. The owner and his wife are very very friendly and very knowledgeable, they get to know their customers so that they know what they like read more

Love Tony! Great cigar selection and good prices. Humidors are well maintained so you never get crispy cigars!

Don't go here. The lady accused my money of being fake before she even marked it or checked it then felt hella dumb when it was real.

I've had nothing but great service. They have great deals on liquid kratom tinctures. I refuse to go anywhere else for kratom because of the money I save in just 1 purchase a lone!! Its like 3 for 50$ for OPMS, k-shot, etc. Definitely worth it to me has has gained my forever business. read more

I went to Tony's because of the great reviews... I bought an overpriced torch from what I now know to be Son of Tony(SOT) Which would be OK if the thing wasnt faulty and dangerous from the start. Went back less than hour later for an exchange/ not a refund and was refused by SOT I went in today to talk to Tony only to be told that it was my fault that the torch is faulty by the bossman himself. Shiesty AF I am willing to pay more for GOOD customer service; Not for junk product and blame. Took todays and future business elsewhere, suggest you do the same. read more

This is a family owned business, they care about YOU as a customer in their store. That is apparent as soon as you walk in. They are not pushy, just very helpful and willing to work with you. Their prices are amazing too. I highly suggest stopping in and taking a look at their amazing selection of Glass. I was also pleasurably surprised to find a wide selection of Wraps, by a lot of brands but I bought a Melon flavor I had never seen before by Zig-Zag Brand that I loved, it was a mild sweet that complemented the other flavors I was working with really well. All and all I'll be making the trip from Watsonville to Gillroy, not Santa Cruz if I want to go to a head shop anytime soon. read more

I needed to get some items for my smoking habit and I decided to try a new place. today. I quickly Yelped "smokeshop Gilroy" and Tony's popped up. In I go and was greeted immediately with a warm hello by the wife and the husband that run the place. Very friendly people. They asked what I was looking for and quickly they brought out all the options for me to see. I was very impressed by their selection and the fact that they could explain what everything did, since it was my first purchase of dabbing supplies. I asked for a few more things and threw in a few items at no charge. I am impressed by good service and the people at Tony's know how to service their customer. Great experience and as I told them on the way out, "I have found my new smoke shop". They have a customer in me for as long as they are open....I just wish I could remember their names. Great people. read more

I went to this smoke shop yesterday to buy a vape charger. The gentleman there sold me one without asking for my id( I'm 27 years old). I brought the charger to my car and tried screwing it on to my ego battery to charge and it wouldn't screw on. I brought it back into the store and told him it wasn't working. He looked at my battery, said the teeth on the threading was broken and proceeded to screw the charger I bought onto a larger version of my battery. I then said I wanted to buy a battery from him and when I pulled out my card to pay he suddenly asked for my Id. I did not have my ID on me but i had a clear picture of my passport on my phone(which other establishments accept, ranging from restaurants to liquor stores to dispensaries even) but when I came back with my phone to show him the picture of my ID he said he "wanted my drivers license and not a picture of me" when I asked him why he wouldn't look at my passport photo he essentially responded by saying goodbye which I took to mean he was suddenly refusing to serve me so I left. The funny thing is, the threading on my battery isn't broken, it threads in fine to my charger, it just unfortunately has broken wires so I can't use it. So all in all, i got kicked out of his smoke shop when I was attempting to give him more business by buying a new battery because he sold me a part that didn't work for my battery. Would highly avoid this place and the middle aged man that works there(I'm assuming that's Tony). I wouldve gone back in for a refund for the charger but I doubt that man would've given me one or let me back in the store had I tried. So I'm stuck with a charger I can't use. But don't worry bud, I've already called the bank to dispute this transaction and they're going to refund me. Also, just to add, when I went back in to tell him the charger didn't work, he was ringing up another gentleman for a vape purchase and ALSO didn't ask to see this man's identification. So I guess if you wanna go here and don't have an ID, they won't ID you the first time. Hope this helps future customers avoid having a bad customer service and bad product based experience. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

This is the only smoke shop in town I visit! Tony always makes me feel comfortable and provides great customer service.

So as I walk in I get carded and show him my ID. Now today is July 19 2018 so anyone born before July 1997 would be 21 and be able to purchase at his store. I was born in August 1996 meaning im nearly 22, but according to Tony because July is before August im not 21 yet. I tried to explain to him how 1996 actually occurred before 1997 but it was far to much for him to understand. I was asked to leave and was not allowed to buy because he thought I was 20. At least the bar understands basic math and I was able to easily get a drink. read more
