There's always a daily deal going on, so even if you're shopping on a budget, you can still score top-shelf bud at a great price. Today I got a top shelf 1/8 for $28 I've checked out all the shops in the area, and this one hands down has the best variety and quality. But my favorite part of The Hook is the staff. They are truly what makes this place special. Alyssa and Starr aren't just helpful -- they're genuinely kind-hearted, warm, and so easy to talk to. They always have the best recommendations, and because of them I've discovered so many new brands I absolutely love. I'm a budget shopper too, and they've put me onto amazing, affordable options that still hit just right. Denny is also super helpful every time I go in -- honestly, everyone who works there is great. The vibe inside is always good energy -- super welcoming, chill, and even pet-friendly, which I love. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out. They've got everything: flower, pre-rolls, edibles, drinks, vapes -- literally all the goods

I've been a regular customer at multiple Stiiizy-affiliated locations, and unfortunately my…read moreexperience at the Deli location was very different from the others. One employee frequently went far beyond normal transaction-related conversation. On one visit, I overheard him discussing LSD with another customer while I was waiting, which made me uncomfortable. During nearly every interaction, he would also hand me my change very high in the air with exaggerated movements instead of simply placing it in my hand or on the counter. Rather than confronting him directly, I respectfully brought my concern to management because I had previously had positive experiences speaking with managers at other Stiiizy locations. Instead of feeling heard, I felt dismissed. I explained that I have personal medical reasons for preferring not to reach up during transactions and simply requested that my items and change be placed on the counter going forward. I was told the employee does this with everyone, but I still felt my request wasn't taken seriously. After that conversation, I felt my interactions became even more uncomfortable. On one visit, the employee placed my product extremely close to my stomach, invading my personal space. On another, he made unrelated comments such as, "Be safe out there," which felt awkward and unnecessary during a simple purchase. During my final visit, in the middle of the transaction--not as an opening greeting--the employee randomly commented, "I hope your day is going good." It felt out of place because we were already in the middle of completing my purchase, and I simply wanted to focus on the transaction. I politely responded that I'd rather just focus on the transaction than discuss my day. He acknowledged what I said, completed the transaction, and I left without raising my voice or causing a scene. Not long afterward, I learned I had been banned from the location, which was surprising given how calmly I handled the interaction. I've since had much more positive experiences at other dispensaries, including another Stiiizy location where management listened to my concerns respectfully and understood that I simply prefer to keep conversations professional and focused on the transaction. My hope is that this location improves its customer service by respecting reasonable boundaries, keeping conversations appropriate, and handling customer concerns with professionalism rather than making customers feel unwelcome.
