Expecting the usual pub mystery meats covered in clotted cheese, we were surprised to find that this establishment considers itself something of a gastro-pub serving a variety of odd "fusion" dishes, including a crepe-like ratatouille pancake, decent vegetable puree soup, chorizo covered in what apparently passes here for haloumi cheese, and a tuna steak that is of course cooked all the way through until it is dead, since, although great strides have been made, you Brits have a long way to go before you become acclimated to seared raw fish.
