This place is huge and has an endless selection of everything! We purchased a house with zero landscaping around it. Absolutely nothing! So I made my way to Tony's to stock up and get started. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Prices vary from reasonable to very expensive but that's to be expected with such a grand variety. This last season I lost a couple of small grasses and a couple of lupine to the hot summer heat but everything else looks great. The large hanging baskets that I put into the large pots on my deck were my favorites. I'll be back in the spring for more things to beautify my yard. read more

Wow. This place is humongous. We walked around for almost an hour and still didn't cover the whole grounds. My Wife bought several plants and some pots as well. I heard they may have carnivorous plants. There was an entire greenhouse of succulents. They also had some carnivorous plants but were almost out of Venus Fly Traps. Just a couple lonely typical's hanging out. They have everything for your house and garden plants it seems. Lots of friendly staff walking around to assist customers. Not a big parking lot but it isn't small either. We kinda ran out of steam walking around and called it a day but we want to come back. read more

Tony's is pretty out there, but it's worth the drive if you want to browse lots of plants. Great selection of plants, pots, and soil. Prices are on the spendy side. Did not have a hori hori knife so tool selection was meh. I also wish their natives section was more diverse. They include nativars, which problematic. read more

Tony's is a great place to get indoor plants. I prefer to buy small plants and enjoy their growth and Tony's has greenhouses full of them. Reasonably priced due to being new growth and the plants I've purchased have been healthy and thriving. Tony's also has a wide variety of outdoor vines and shrubs and the staff seem knowledgeable about which varieties are hardy and will endure our climate. Tony's is far more affordable than other garden centers in our area. read more

Happy Valley, 172nd location. Friendly staff, excellent customer service, HUGE selection. Bonus that it's just down the road from me. Will be my my go-to for now on. I called ahead to confirm they had what I was looking for and Anna helped me. She even called me back to tell me that they were driving over some additional material from another one of their locations that she thought I would like. Good selection but it would be better to have tags on plants that had information on them.. A lot dont have any info like how tall or wide, Full Sun or Shade. Most tags just have what classification like. Succulent and no name. If their was a name of the plant as person could Google for info at least. read more

Bought 6 golden crest cypress trees here in March and 4 of them are turning brown with one of them completely brown by May. Been watering them all the same. Went to nursery and explained situation and personnel implied that it was all my fault (I've never killed any of my other plants and everything around the small trees as well as two of the trees are thriving). I asked for four replacement trees or a refund. The lady I was working with offered $40 (cost was $22 each tree), then came up to $12.50 each tree which I accepted, but then at register told the other girl to give me $12.50 for 3 trees instead of the 4 dead ones... I was so over the situation I didn't want to argue with them anymore so I took the gift card and left. Place has really good selection, I just wish I could trust that their plants will live. Will be using my gift card for a planter and buy all my plants from elsewhere that stands by their plants... :/ read more

This is their newest location. It's a good size, a large rectangle shaped property, but I always seem to have a hard time finding things. The pricing isn't always clearly marked, and I've found some stuff not labeled. There is a lot to look at though, if you have the time to browse it's worth it to wander around. I feel like the prices are comparable (within a few dollars) to Portland Nursery or Al's. So, reasonable, but on the higher end. Typically good quality though, good selection, some things are priced higher and some things you can get good deals on. So it's worth it to come look around. I'm surprised to see their location in happy valley isn't even listed on Yelp. It's older, and larger, more sprawling maybe? At any rate, I like both the Damascus location and the Happy Valley location. A little better labeling and organization might help some. But otherwise a really well stocked and well cared for nursery. read more
