Every so often you have to take a scroll back and see if anything new has been added to the menus. Not sure if this is new, but it's definitely something I haven't tried. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp along with the Fried Shrimp Po' Boy platter and Hush Puppies. The Bang Bang Shrimp sauce was different from what we had tasted before, but it was good. I was looking for a sweeter taste but again, it still had a great taste. It came on a bed of lettuce. The Shrimp Po' Boy platter came with French Fries. The fries were crunchy and delicious! Matter of fact, they were perfect:) The Shrimp Po' Boy was good and simple. It didn't have a lot of stuff on it, which was cool for me. Again, the sauce was okay but the shrimp and fixings were delightful. These Hush puppies are always good, so no complaints there. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. This is a place I recommend. While Garners doesn't offer the same variety of combos that other seafood boil venues, you can choose a 1/2 order of *any* seafood. This allows for a variety of seasonings and add ons (i.e., they don't throw it all in the same bag) providing myriad ways to customize. I was very happy with my mussels and shrimp; seasoning was solid. I'm not a fan of the Styrofoam containers with all that liquid, but to each their own. The wings were nothing to rave about; breaded and lightly sauced. *A note on heat: The employee taking my order at the register suggests no hotter than a 3 on their 5 point scale. As one who completes the BWW Blazin' Challenge on a whim, I wasn't nervous about going higher, but every cajun boil interprets this scale differently. In the end, I could have handled a 4...maybe a 5 if I wanted to sweat, but I was happy with the 3.

Our waitress tonight was Lydia and she is awesome. Very attentive and makes sure that the order comes out correct and served promptly. They have a brand new "A" rating on the door so obviously they keep it clean and are quick to make corrections. We have seen them slammed and quiet, but they always do a wonderful job cooking and serving their customers to make them happy.
