Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

Floor Services Install gave me a response within 5 minutes of my online request for bids on the project. They texted me with a quote and the time they could come to complete the installation the following day. The job was to take out the existing washer and dryer and replace them with new machines. I didn't know that the house was wired for electric and that modifications needed to be made to fit both the new dryer and the house for use with natural gas. These pros saw what needed to be done, explained the process to me, and went right to work with professionalism, good humor and in a timely manner. Javier and Alfredo arrived at the time we had agreed upon the prior day, switched machines, found parts for the modifications, and quickly returned to make laundry magic happen. When they came back from Home Depot they showed me the receipt and the parts, so I could see that they had purchased everything necessary to install the machines. On top of doing an excellent job, they were personable, professional and genuinely wonderful people. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost for parts and labor. The owner, Julio, worked with us on price (thank you for the military discount!) and after the scope of work and cost were agreed upon, he and Ty began work the same day and returned the next day to finish the jobs. They removed a TV bracket from a wall, removed a built-in desk, filled holes/sanded/ and painted three walls, checked something in the attic, and added new baseboard to the section of wall where the desk was removed. Overall, they did a good job, making sure the paint had clean lines and being respectful of our property (it was a bit challenging as we were still moving in and there were boxes and belongings strewn about). The only negatives were that Ty arrived about 45 minutes later than expected the second day and although they closed the door to the room that had to be sanded before painting, I wish they had thrown drop cloths over the items in the room as they were covered with dust when they finished and it took some time for me to clean it all. Even with that, we would hire them again if our regular handyman is unavailable - they're work was professional and quality-grade.

After that, I followed up multiple times--six attempts in total--simply asking if he was still interested or either way if you could let me know. I never received a response. All I was asking for is a little common courtesy after paying him. Being ignored after payment and led to believe work would move forward is extremely unprofessional. She had paid for the door already. It was him installing a screen door, painting her front door, and installing 2 outside outlets. I would never recommend this company. Horrible communication and unprofessional. I am alerting all media outlets I'm on and making sure friends and family know that this company has caused my mother a lot of anxiety as his prior estimate was 800-900 plus the additional 2 outlets added which in no way totally 1000 more. SCAMMED. Also in a website he says he gives Senior Discounts. Ya NO. Now I'm involved and we are taking the legal route thru a lawyer and intend to follow this thru. We re-scheduled for the following week,(my order was in) and he called stating he was going to be about an hour late,(which was fine). He arrived, put in the Security Door, couldn't install the Storm Door due to the size was incorrect (who knows how it happened), so he checked out the can lights where the ceiling fans were going to be installed, he stated he will have to google how to remove the can lights. He said he has another appointment is is late for but when I get the correct door he will install the ceiling fans as well. I asked him where we were at in price for the work he has done, and he said "right around $250.00" I offered to pay him right then because I was rather disappointed that he couldn't complete the work for the items that I already had ready to install. He said "just pay me when we get the other door and the fans installed." When I spoke to him on the phone about the door that was returned, I told him I was rather disappointed as to what work actually got done, he at that point started being less reliable as far as communication. I finally asked him for an invoice so I could pay him for the service he provided, he emailed it to me and I was absolutely shocked! 1) I did not get the 10% Senior Discount he promised, he charged me $387.00 which is more than the I paid for the Security Door! I emailed him and texted him questioning about the Senior Discount, it's been days and he has not yet responded!! Poor business and work ethics!
