My Fiancé and I took a chance not knowing anything about this place. 6 weeks later after we dropped our table off it was the most amazing looking piece of furniture we have seen. Matt was very communicative with us keeping us posted on what the work was looking like. Matt really took a personal interest in our table and made us feel like he would have done the same amount of craftsmanship on his own table. We definitely will have more projects for Matt. I just picked up my table and chairs, and I am very happy with the end result. There was a lot of detail work and Matt hand sanded it (not dipped) perfectly clean, took apart all the joints and re-glued - so no more wobbly chairs. We worked on the stain color together, and it couldn't be more perfect. The finish is better than I thought it could be. His pricing was very fair for all the work he put into the set. It appears Matt's issues are growing with the number and goods he refuses to return. My furniture belonged to my parents and he refuses to return either, money or furniture. Guess we should have checked.....no business license, etc, he is not registered with the Secretary of State either. I have had it with his antics ....lie after lie. read more

Found Matt via a Google search and had him restore and repair my wife's antique hope chest and an antique wooden icebox. The veneer on the chest was peeling and water damaged. The legs on the icebox were broken and rotted through from termites. After about 3 weeks and just getting those piece back, all we can say is "Wow". He brought both pieces back to life to a point we didn't think possible. He's a true artist, a perfectionist, and is very fairly priced...he even picked our pieces up in Reno and took them to his shop in Carson City and delivered the finished pieces to us.
