I unexpectedly had to replace all four tires on my "Mazdarati". The tire shop personnel confirmed the car also had small pinholes in the exhaust near the catalytic converter. Having already spent $1.2 K on tires and a 4 wheel alignment, I had to start hunting for a way to save on this next repair. Enter Tony's Broadway Auto Repair. I drove to the shop without an appointment and asked if they could fit me in sometime. After describing what was wrong with the vehicle, they said they could get me in today. Heck, yeah, I'll wait. Repairs (cutting and replacing a portion of the exhaust pipe) were made at a reasonable price. The car was so quiet afterwards, I almost restarted it, thinking it wasn't running. Anyway, a trusted mechanic, that's hard to come by these days. Judging by how busy the shop is, a lot of people appreciate this family owned business as well. read more

Tony's Broadway Auto Repr - Trusted mechanic - Gas Stations Near Me - Schenectady, New York

Let me start off by saying I've been going here for two years and this is the first time I've had this problem. I picked up my car on Tuesday evening and when I got it home I realized there was a bag missing from behind the driver's seat, a bag of Amazon stuff I was planning to return, worth $45. So I opened up my trunk and realized a suitcase that had an air compressor, a tire repair kit and jumper cables was gone. Both of my bags with camping stuff in them had been rifled through, some of the lanterns had been taken, only the smallest one was left. So obviously my car had been robbed while at Tony's Broadway Auto Repair overnight. I went and filed a police report that night. The next day I called Tony's, told him what had happened, he said he would look at his security footage. I never heard back from him. So I wanted to warn other people about this possibility. I'll be going to a different mechanic where the security of my vehicle is actually important to them. read more

Absolutely recommend this auto repair shop! Took in a 2005 car that had been out of commission for a while (it had been sitting outside all winter, gathering rust, dust and rodent nests...omg) Tony's auto repair was thorough and detailed in explanation of what repairs needed to be done. They were able to get the car up and running and now it is safe to drive. Also, they cleaned out the clogs in air conditioning system- it's working again, just in time for summer! Thank You!!! read more

I came to Tony's referred there by a local business from over 40 miles away. I had been quoted between $2,000 and $3,000 by two other national brand services for repair/replacement of a considerable portion of my exhaust system. Tony not only repaired the source of my exhaust leak but also replaced another item that was in the process of failing ..... for under $400. Guess where I'm going the next time I have a problem? And they're nice people, too! read more

Recommended when we moved to the area and they always provide exceptional service. Great family run business. Timely and quality service.

Would 100% recommend. I stopped in for a last minute, unknown issue and they were able to take a Quick Look and get my car in driving shape that very day. Very friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Great auto shop that is owned and run by family. Both Father and Son run this place. The garage is only big enough to fit 2 cars. Which is perfect since it's a small family business. The service was prompt and courteous. They know their way around any car and very knowledgeable. When you tell them what problems you're having with the car they are able to identify it right away. The prices were fair and they were honest with everything else on the vehicle. They had also topped off the fluids and checked tire pressure as part of the service which was free of charge. This is also a local dealership under a different name "Driveline Motors" so they have a 2 in 1 deal! Buy a car and bring it back for annual maintenances! I would recommend this place to anyone. read more
