He talked to me the entire time during the extraction and wanted to know if I was ok or in any pain. I would recommend Dr Maroda to anyone who needs or wants that extra attention at the dentist. Prior to my appointment I called to ask about my insurance and they welcomed my questions and let me know I could call anytime if I needed to. Awesome team!!

When it was coming back for the third time she became unhappy because the procedure was very painful. When she expressed her displeasure with his treatments he dismissed her as a patient. She saw a different oral surgeon the next week and was diagnosed with oral cancer. This dentist could see that it was cancer with his eyes. My mother was dead in a year. I didn't think to post this review until my granddaughter was scheduled to have her wisdom teeth removed in his office. I knew I couldn't allow her to be a patient of his, and I knew I had to warn others that he is incompetent. My mother saw him for several months. Had he diagnosed her correctly she might have lived, or maybe lived longer. By the time she was diagnosed it had spread to her jaw and her brain. Not an easy death. I had to post with a star to be able to review him. He deserves no stars. I don't award stars for letting my mother die

The dentist tells us both we need fillings redone and uses a camera to show us the spots on our teeth as "proof". I don't know know what I'm looking at, so of course I'm going to trust the expert. Well, we decide it's odd that our last routine visit within the same year didn't mention any areas to watch so we get a second opinion. Absolutely nothing wrong with our teeth, no fillings need redone. If we did what the dentist suggested we would be out hundreds of dollars each and for no real reason but money-hungry "medical professionals." I never write bad reviews, but I have to warn others because I picked this place based on the previous high reviews. Scary! Also they billed my insurance for X-rays which I didn't get. Maybe that was an error, but honestly what percentage of people check their claims for accuracy and how many "errors" don't get caught?

When I took him, they took x-rays and when that was done, they call my sister and myself back to show us what they saw. He had plaque buildup, and needed to use a special mouthwash for a short period of time, which I understood. But they informed us that it would take two visits to clean his teeth. supposedly, his plaque was that bad. I thought ok, it had been 3.5 years since his last cleaning. (That visit was with a different dentist, whom he had seen for years.) When they gave me the appointment date and times, they also gave me the price for the two cleanings. $1,288.00 was the cost! YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!! $1,288.00. I would have to be crazy to pay that much for cleaning! I called his old dentist, they saw him the next morning, took x-ray and cleaned ALL HIS TEETH IN THAT ONE VISIT! COST: $215.00! Why she would think it would be a good idea to drill on my tooth a day after I got the filling I'll never know. Now that I've paid thousands of dollars out pocket because my insurance has been maxed out, I can honestly say that you need to go someplace else!!
