When meeting with the contact person we were told that they had a liquor license...nope wine and beer only. Instead of talking to any of the hosts about an issue they immediately slapped us with an arbitrary $500 fine. They made no attempt to allow any of us to correct the issue. In addition to that we were ultimately charged over $1000 over the quote for the catering. We were told that leftovers would be packaged for us, as is customary, but when asked about them we were told there were none. Members of our party literally watched them remove a large amount of food when serving was over. They lied. These people did their best to ruin our night, ultimately we shut down our party early and moved to an alternate location to celebrate without nasty looks and bad attitudes. These people would do well to remember they are dealing with people's dream day. They need to be honest and upfront about what they can and cannot deliver. That was clearly not our experience. If you are considering this place for your event learn from us and be on guard when they make promises, we found that they don't deliver.

When we raised concerns, we were met with attitude and indifference. Even worse, some of our guests were treated rudely by the staff, which was both embarrassing and upsetting on such a special day. We were told leftovers would be packaged and ready to bring with at the end of the reception. The groom was told they were "in the garbage" What a slap in the face. We closed the reception early and brought the guests to another location that was warm and inviting. We put our trust in this venue to help create a memorable experience for our daughter, and instead we were left feeling taken advantage of. Weddings are emotional enough without having to fight for basic honesty and decency. I would strongly caution any family considering this venue -- make sure everything is in writing, and don't expect compassion or professionalism.
