Well what can I say except this is an experience worth telling. Five years took a lease out with…read more NFS leasing company. As discussed with the broker it was a $35K deposit which reflected the 10% buyout of the machine at the end . After the lease was signed I got a bill for $4300. I questioned it and found out it was called a monthly interim rent until your machine was delivered then your payments toward the machine would start. Had no idea of this. I renegotiated with them to start my payments early and avoid $30K in rent and they agreed only if I payed $2500 to redo paperwork. So I agreed and we got it done. Fast forward to today my lease is over and I am about to be happy I now own my machine, or so I taught. I asked what the buyout was and found out it was now 30% 0f the machine which was over a 100k. I began pleading for help because it was not what I was told. They agreed to take a look at it and we went back and forth for about 3 months. Finally I got a " no this is it either pay it or return the machine" well it turns out there is another clause that stipulates you have to agree to buy the machine or return it between 180 day and 120 day others $10k monthly will be added to your buyout. Well now I owe another $30k. It turns out I was baited to believe they were working with me to help my situation when it was only adding to my demise. If I agree to return the machine I am responsible for tear down and delivery of the machine and for every 30 days that by another monthly payment is due as your previous payment. This is my opinion and its not to bash them but to educate future clients on what to expect . It also turns out the 6 months of early payments I made hurt me because the machine is due the at the last payment made. They wouldn't even honor that 6 months I paid early payments. Efforts to resolve these misunderstandings were met with resistance, and discussions with their team felt like stalling tactics, ultimately leading to an inflated buyout price that was unfair and burdensome for a small business like ours. Miscommunication, unexpected fees, and the unprofessional behavior of their staff, which left my wife in tears, made this a troubling experience. I hope NFSB Leasing addresses these issues for future clients but, unfortunately, I can't recommend them based on our experience.
