They are now Panorama Eye Care, LLC. ​However, they do not tell you this when you make an appt or check in. They sent an email to their portal with the new name, but it did not say DBA or give any indication they changed hands. I thought it was spam. Upon arriving at her appt., my elderly mother (80) forgot her ID/Ins cards. They refused to look her up in the system and told us we had to go home and come back with them. I asked to speak to the practice manager who helped us before, but a different person told us she didn't work there now. Then I learned her appt was with an optometrist not an ophthalmologist. (DES only had ophthalmologists, except in the glasses dept previously.) She has CML so she needs a dr trained in ophthalmology. It was not communicated she was scheduled with an optometrist when I made the appt on the phone. Dr. Maus was her ophthalmologist, but he's gone, too. Her Retina Specialist is leaving in August. Get the picture? Panorama Eye Care, LLC took over the practice, but it's not disclosing it to the public or previous patients. This is a deceptive practice known as bait and switch. It is illegal and I've filed a complaint with COAG.

Now after a slight adjustment, I see 20/20!!! Before I saw Dr. Cattrell I had the wrong contact fit and a prescription for glasses that was way off. I specifically asked about Medicaid coverage and extra fees ahead of time, and nothing was said. Because I wasn't prepared for that charge, they wouldn't release my contact prescription. On top of that, the front desk woman, Barbara, was rude and dismissive when I questioned it. It's a shame because the doctor truly was great, but the poor communication and bad attitude at checkout ruined an otherwise good visit. Make sure you double-check all costs before going in.
