    Hello everyone, First of all, I am a cancer survivor my…read morename is Zouhair Mardini and here's my story. I am a resident of City of Snohomish Wa, and this statement is way past due, a year and a half ago, I discovered a lump over my right upper chest, I somehow thought I may have injured myself and that it would go away. Within a couple of months, that thing swelled up to become a 10 pound tumor, like normal, I didn't think that this would ever happen to me. So, I went into severe depression and non-acceptance, and I was terrified, and I landed at Dr.Costas's office. I truly think the angels have placed me at her clinic, she took over with lots of speed, took charge of me, within a few days she operated on me, I believe the surgery took around 10 hours and that she removed around 10 pounds between tumor's and ribs. I opened my eyes and here she was with her even smile and incredible personality, the kind of smile that makes you feel at ease, and a personality that makes you feel like you're going to be okay. I have never in my life met someone who is so caring, so professional ,so amazing, and knowledgeable at what she does. Her office is so thorough, her staff is so kind, as a matter of fact I look forward to visiting her office because I feel safe, I can't begin to say thank you to Dr.Costas that she has saved my life. I don't know any other word better than thank you, my family and friends they all thank Dr.Costas, I think we are the lucky ones that we have Dr.Costas in our county. I have never met someone with that kind of profession so quick to act. It has been a little over a year and every 6 months I have to visit Dr.Costas for checkups, for the second time she turns from her desk with a smile and looks at me and says " Mr. Mardini you are cancer free." . It's music to my heart and its like an angel talking to me, I so appreciate you Dr.Costas, and I do have two daughters and I hope someday they'll become just like you. Mardini

A year ago, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Being that it is slow growing, I spent a couple months researching the best course of treatment, given the biopsy results. To my surprise, many urologists/oncologists do a "hard sell" on the treatment they suggest. Some were downright pushy. One, I walked out of. To my relief, Dr Randy Sorum did not make a hard sell. A couple different radiation based options were presented. We discussed non-radiation treatments as well. In the end, it was my choice (borrowing a line from the feminists : "it's my body! I have a right to choose.") Last summer I went through 5 weeks of daily external radiation. This was followed by two high dose internal zaps of my prostate. I can't praise the staff and Dr Sorum enough for their professionalism and what used to be called bedside manner. I actually looked forward to my daily zapping and those who zapped me (zap is probably not an acceptable medical term). Each day was like having coffee with friends. Six months later, all is clear and my body is doing right on what Dr Sorum said it would as it recovers from the radiation. I can't ask for more than that. Other than I am a little disappointed I don't glow in the dark. (-;

The nurses here would make me follow up with my own insurance about my medication which is is something a provider is responsible for. They told me multiple times that something was wrong with my (State) insurance...Even though I have medicaid. The funny part is; when I challenged them in their office and asked them who they had spoken with at my insurance agency, they couldn't provide a name or number. Then, they had the audacity to say "Well I called you two hours before your appointment." That doesn't do anything for anyone. You had an entire month to work on ordering and scheduling my infusion. I got upset because this was the third time this had happened. They even went as far as saying "well last month we used our in house on you and we never got our stock back" And don't get me started on how after you decided i was being "Very aggressive" when I just wanted to know why I wasn't being helped; your office decides its going to call the cops on me. And to make it even better, Dr. Osborn literally walked outside and demanded that I stay in my vehicle and then put a mask on if I wanted to talk to him while I was trying to leave because I was literally shaking with frustration. This man has the audacity to treat me like a child. I got out of my car so I could be at the same level as him. I didn't want him talking down to me so I got out of the car. He then treated me like I was going to attack him as he ran away inside the building. I walk with a cane and have balance issues. I literally implore anyone who has read this far Do not go here if you can help it. This man isn't a doctor and neither is anyone in that office. I feel like he had his day 30 years ago and he just doesn't want to quit until he kills everyone who walks through his door. That is an exaggeration. But the fact that only one of three places in this whole state has infusion sites is pretty terrible.
