Always an easy and helpful doctor's office. I've been to their different locations and this is the best due to the facility being bigger with a bigger staff. I have been going here for my two daughters ages 3 and 7 and they have always made sure thy get what they need, really appreciate it. read more

Amazing team! My oldest has been coming to this location since 2013 and now that I have a 6 monther the insurance assigned her to a different provider but the insurance coordinator helped me get my daughter assigned back to Dr. Chavis! read more

I started my prenatal care across the hall ( with X Dr. no longer around ). We took all 3 of our children from birth until they All aged out at 19 years old. Though we lived a few cities over in the beginning we never left their care, after we moved over 40 miles away to the San Fernando Valley for the majority of their childhood into adults. My children are now 30, 28, 22 years old and they remember it all. Hopefully my 3yr. old and 1.5yr. old grandchildren will be able to travel to this location for the love and care my family experienced for many years here at my children's childhood primary care facility. Kudos Dr. Chavis and Marjorie. We love you guys for the care you provided from 1992-2019 read more

They never answer the phone so we can set appointments. Calls get sent straight to voicemail.

I had the pleasure of her being my daughter pediatrician in 1989..She was the best..I often wondered if she still had an office in Compton..I would have recommended my daughters take my Grandkids to her read more

My second appointment was okay but if I had two more hands I would give them four thumbs down for the third appointment. As a medical facility you would think they would be fair to accommodating persons with disabilities but they are not. They have a one parent policy in the exam room; however I am a person with a disability and need assistance managing the baby so I bring the father to important appointments regarding the baby. Father has a mental impairment and mother has a physical impairment so the father assists with managing the baby while I, the mother makes the medical decisions and discuss any plans or treatments involving my child's medical necessities. I had to file a grievance with my insurance company and submit a ADA violation complaint because I was denied access to my son's appointment because of their one parent policy. She receptionist refused to make an exception to their policy to accomplish my disability and my son's special need. read more

Love these woman!!! A black owned, woman owned doctor's office is rare to find. They are so kind and thorough. Very educated and they take the time with you. Helped my 1 year old daughter tremendously with a complex issue with her immune system at the time. They gave us great health advice overall. I'm grateful for them. Check them out! read more

There's also a pharmacy on site. The staff is always nice and friendly. Everyone is always in a good mood. Since then I moved my other 2 children here and made this Doctor their primary one. read more

Am so disappointed for this clinic ! I had an appointment for 2 physicals for my 2 daughters , First appointment, and I took my son 3 years old the staff didn't let me in because they said the rooms were little and that that was there policy now , I ask to speak with the supervisor Maria and wasn't no help I told her "help me out I don't have nosotros to take care of my son , I put my hand in front of me to touch her shoulder was so rude to step back and said don't touch me , first time patients I told her if she can go in she's a 16 year old girl and a 4 year old and said they have to me with a n adult ! I got a call from the doctor the youngest short hair , said we can go ahead and help you find a doctor that meets your needs , I told her I can do that my self , you have to work with parents like me that can leave there child alone , Everyones working , she didn't want to hear and said I have to click on you and so she did ! How can the staff help me if they have a doctor that didn't care and try to show any emotions to my situation, don't come here the appointments are long and this place I give it a 0 review Don't waist your time they click on you and that was a Professional HEALTH ADVISOR Thank god my kids weren't seen by this Bullies Porfavor no lleve sus hijos aki nome vieron porque yevava a mi hijo de 3 años ! This clinic has done a better job so far we been coming here for 3 yrs for my daughter at the beginning the typical wait time was 3hour+ now the wait time has gotten a lot better the last time we went in we were there for 1.5 hr top. The doctors are great they go through everything with you and always ask you if you have any questions and the nurses are supper nice quick and kid friendly. The only bad thing is that they never answer there phones!! I been there when the phone are going off and you have about 5 nurses around the phone and nobody answers them. They can work on that but other then the phone situation this clinic is great. read more

i was referred over by a few friends to bring my daughter in. back in 2019 i spoke to Maria about bringing her in as a new patient. at the time she was a few days old and was in the nicu, she advised me to wait due to her being born premature- reason being was because we didn't know if she was going to need any high risk specialist's. so we stayed at the children's clinic until she was cleared from her high risk doctor. i contacted Maria @ dr Toni Johnson Chavis and she was happy to hear izabell was thriving and ready to switch her over. i have never been treated at a doctors office with such grace and professionalism. she went far and beyond to make the switch over smoothly. she is now almost 3 and get the best care from here. the staff is super friendly, kind and professional. a big big plus for me was the covid-19 rules they set for patients... bring no extra guest to visit was a win for me. i wouldn't want my non sick kids being exposed. read more

I called to make an appointment because I have my 2 year old with fever and a stomach ache. I was told that they are not seeing patients with any COVID symptoms. To take her to the hospital. Really!!!!! So they are now only Dr's for regular check ups, not for baby's that may get a infection and that's why they get fever. I will be changing this Dr for sure. Make yourself a favor and take your precious little kids somewhere else where they do care about your child.

Bring back all the originals and not these new attitude having people that don't know how to be around other patience I've been going here for seven years and never had a problem until now just very rude and disrespectful and nasty read more

I love the doctors here. At first I didn't want to come here because of where it's at but I've never had an issue. Everyone is super nice. Since my son was born I've brought him here, when he was only 2 months old he started getting real sick wheezing and congested chest and the doctors right away hooked him up to at home and injected him. They are the best I will continue to bring my kids here. read more

First of all!!!.... They don't inject children, only for immunization. I been there for over seven years. My children been through up and downs with these doctors. These doctors give you low dose of medication and send you of. Doctors tell you if the child gets worst. Take him/her to the hospital. For the past two years I been having bad experiences with these doctors. I end up moving my children to Children Hospital. Doctors at Children hospital observe the children thoroughly. Toni Chavis doctors don't wore gloves, they don't wash there hands like there suppose to. Health inspector should go and observe them. They never have appointment available. Difficult to work with. read more
