The team currently consists of nine Stylists and two Beauty Therapists (all with a wealth of experience and expertise). Very poor service. I went to this place to get my hair dyed and got told I needed a skin test first…read moreand so went along for a skin test, then booked to have my hair dyed. Unfortunately I then came down too ill to go to my appointment. I phoned up and talked to Bond and asked her what their cancellation policy was as nobody had told me and it was nowhere on the website. I was not told on the phone what the policy was either, all I got told was that she will book me in to have my hair dyed another day, so she booked me in. I then had to cancel a second time as I had terrible flu and my dad talked to Bond on speaker phone so I could hear and my mum could I hear (I was too ill to use my voice) and again no cancellation policy or anything was explained, all that happened is my hair dye appointment was booked in another time. So I turned up to have my hair dyed, having organised my whole month so I could be there as it is tricky for me to go as I am 95% housebound with severe chronic health problems, and I then got told by Bond that she would not dye my hair that day, they she would only do another skin test first and then I'd have to return again next week (which I was not able to do). I told her that I had not been told any of this on the phone, and she said that she had explained all of this. I explained that I had talked to her, and my dad had talked to her with my mum and me listening in on speakerphone, and neither time was any of this explained. My mum and dad confirmed this. She still said all of this had been explained and would not apologise for her mistake. I will not return to this place again. I am not well enough to be messed about. It took a lot to get there only for them to not dye my hair. The least they could have done was apologise. I am never using your hairdressers again. Poor communication, poor service.

I would like to share with you my experience at SuperCuts Bullring Birmingham today…read more As a regular customer, I went in and waited for my turn, and the hair stylist who attended me, the only male in the whole salon, asked to have a sit and take my hair down. I did it and his first reaction was: wow, I thought you had much more hair and thicker.... ok.... Feeling a bit insulted, we moved on to discuss what I wanted. Just trimming ends and fringe. Simple. I mentioned that I wanted shampoo as well. And he kept touching my hair with disgust and commenting how dry and dead my ends were. (Maybe the reason why I was there??...) Anyway, he told me the price and then he said that we can do a blow dry as well. I said no and he insisted. 3 times. I understand he was just trying to sell his product but I didn't want to and as a customer he needs to respect my wishes and my needs. He washed my hair, in a really rough manner, even hurt my ears, and moved on to cut it. All of this saying out loud how fine my hair was, and making me feel incredibly embarrassed. Eventually he even said: "As soon as I finish with this lady I'm going to pop to the loo because my bladder is about to explode.... I'm so glad she barely has any hair!!!" Once he was done cutting, he gave me a bit of air with the dryer and asked if I wanted my fringe straightened. I said ok, even though at that point I was so mortified that I just wanted to leave that place. He straightened in a way that I looked like I was wearing a cap hat... !!! I paid, left and run to the nearest restroom to make my hair wet and get rid of that monstruosity.... I am beyond hurt and disappointed and with this experience, Supercut has lost a customer. Whenever I go to the hairdressers I expect to leave feeling ok with myself, not like a monster, mortified and with zero self steem, trying to hide in a restroom to fix my hair. Why was he so insisting in the quality and quantity of my hair? I was there because I trusted him to fix it, not to make me feel like a monster about it, specially when I am already insecure about it. So as I stated above, Supercuts has lost a customer, because of this condescending and insulting hair stylist. It's a real shame, because I have always felt fabulous after leaving your salons, but this experience has ruined my opinion of you. Hope this review helps anyone.

I love getting my hair cut. You feel so pampered when a person focuses on making you look great for…read morean hour! And the best part is when you leave the salon looking as glamourous as ever. This is how I felt at Supercuts. They tend to be very busy so although walk-ins are welcome, you're better off booking an appointment to avoid disappointment. The stylists are bubbly and welcoming. Although their own hair styles are somewhat off-putting because they can be quite outrageous. But each to their own! Although the stylist made general conversation, I couldn't help but feel like a conveyor-belt customer. By that, I mean their diary seemed so crammed that they were on a mission to be done with clients for the next to take your seat. Despite that, my hair looked fabulous! And I was able to purchase some of the products that had been used to style it from the vast range they have available. Overall a decent salon!

The manager is very rude and made me run to the bathroom to cry after I politely said I was…read moredissatisfied with the service. This was paid for by my mum as it was my first beauty treatment since having my baby who was 7 months at the time. I requested a medium brown colour to lighten my hair from light black-one shade down. I sat for 7 hours to get my colour done twice and there was a band of orange in my hair at the end of this timeframe. I did not complain as these things happen. I was reasonable and agreed to come back the next day. I waited for 30 minutes to be seen and it took a further 3 hours. No apologies throughout. I had to pay for childcare as I was so embarrassed about my hair. I am very open to mistakes occurring as long as management apologise to some degree. The manager told me 'what did I expect.-colour took time'. The salon set my expectations that the colour would take a three hour session prior to initially being seen. I had also been going to them for colour prior to this. I actually went to another hairdressers a week later who rectified the issue quickly. I felt so low by the way the manager spoke down to me and to his staff in front of me. The upstairs sinks also scalded my scalp twice but I didn't even mention this. Overall, lovely girls and nice flowers, but don't be fooled, the owner is clearly not open to customer feedback. Go here if you want to back someone who clearly disrespects women. It really saddens me to say this but if I don't, bullies continue to bully. All it takes for this type of behaviour to prosper, is for me to sit back and say nothing.

I would like to say a big thank you to Michelle at Asthetics who has looked after me a couple of…read moretimes and done a great job on my hair every time, Michelle is not just good at her profession but is very polite and making sure that you are happy with the way your treated. Asthetics is definitely highly recommended when it comes to getting the job done and a very relaxed friendly atmosphere.
