This business is awesome. This is it's new address. The business moved from 1601 W. 190th to this location which is 1611 W. 190th and still offering wonderful service. I'm not sure how long it's been since the move but I recieved a treat on this visit. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner himself. His name is Jeff. He is a "satisfaction guaranteed" type of businessman. If you have any questions and or problems with the product, he doesn't mind talking about it. As you can tell from the photos, his business attempts to lend itself out every product model of printers. If you need it more than likely he's got it. I ran out of ink cartridges for my printer and went to TonerLand ... what a refreshing experience ... I met Ben, the present owner, who puts customer service first. He shared with me that the previous owner almost "ran the business into the ground" ... and that's why there are mixed reviews ... Tonerland is a great place to buy ink. It usually has all the non brand ink cartridges for all kinds of printer. Shop is kinda small, and parking is very limited but that was never an issue with me. My go-to place for bargain printer ink cartridges use to be Staples when they had an awesome ink recycling program. They changed up their program within the last year or so. Staples now require a minimum of $30 purchase before you can recycle your old cartridges and only give you 180 days to do so. Well good-bye Staples and Hello Tonerland. You are my new love in replacing my Canon's ink cartridges! Yes, the cartridges are generic but if you have any issue with them, you can easily let the staff members know and they will gladly take them back. So far I hadn't had any issues. I've been here a few times and recommended this place to a few of my friends and family. They have a private parking lot that seems empty the times I've visited. Saw a Toner cartridge online for $22.99, I was right down the street so I called to pick it up. The guy answering the phone tells me yes we have them in stock and said they were $40. I brought up the online price, his response was "the site is under construction". The same thing happened to me a year ago but I paid the higher price since I was already in their store. Not again. I'll admit, reviewing a retail toner store is not my style. But the people need to know! I picked up an order today at Tonerland. I figured I'd be in and out, just like any other small retail shop. From the moment I walked in, I heard customers complaining about the service. I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and kept it positive. The complaints were validated before it was even my turn. The customer in front of me placed an order and came in to pick it up. They didn't have it. When he asked when it would be in, the clerk replied, "I don't know. Maybe Monday?" He asked if she was certain as to Monday. She shrugged and again repeated, "I don't know." No effort was made to find out. When it was my turn, the lady at the counter yelled, "Next!" I advised her per my order. As I was speaking to her, she answered a phone call and even did that rudely. She didn't ask me to wait on hold please, she just answered the phone. To make it even more comical, she didn't even say Goodbye to the caller, she just hung up. LOL. With her unique style of 3" fingernails and zero eye-contact, she punched my order into her computer. She retrieved my order from the back, had me sign my invoice, and sent me on my way. All the while, no eye-contact, smile, or ounce or care. The one time I had a bad cartdrige they replaced it NQA. Great prices, great service, and don't be afraid to give them your phone number. The key you into their system by phone. Super cheap ink! I was worried at first because it was so cheap. I bought ink for my epson printer and the employee (friendly and knowledgable) asked me if I wanted the generic ink or the regular. I asked what the difference was and the generic ink is what they make and the regular is, you know, regular! Haha. Then she told me that the generic ink is less than half the price of the regular. SOLD!! If the generic ink is malfunctioning, you can always bring it back and they'll just put that money into your regular ink's bill. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! So it's worth a try! We have been ordering cartridges for our HP printer here for years with no problem. With my most recent order, two of the three cartridges were defective. After being promised on the phone they would exchange them, I went in to the store but the staff refused an exchange saying they did not do refunds or exchanges. I pointed out to them the cartridges were defective (which they confirmed). They then offered a 20% discount if I purchased new cartridges. I said no, we called the day before and they confirmed they would exchange them. The staff came back and offered a 50% discount. I refused advising they needed to honor their warranty regardless if it was a new owner. Then I left. Until this week, I always thought I was getting a good price with good quality and free delivery at $36 a cartridge. I left and found the equivalent cartridge for $19.99 with free delivery from http://www.wefixprinters.com. I will use them in the future. The staff at Tonerland were rude and would not honor the company's warranty. If I could give a 'no star rating', I would. read more

First time I had been here. Thought I would check it out since other more popular office supply stores don't seem to carry the ink I need. A customer walked into the store right after me and he seemed to know what he wanted. Me, I'm looking around for a sales person. I see 3 in another office area sitting at their desks - they all looked up when I came in but did not come out. I stand at the counter for a few minutes. As soon as the other customer was ready to make his purchase a woman came out and said she'd help the next customer. So I ask her for the ink cartridges I needed. She shot me an evil eye and said she was going to help the FIRST customer in line and looked at the old guy. I told her I was the FIRST customer in line but she ignored me and was waiting on the old guy. The guy said I was first and the woman grudgingly "helped" me. She was very rude and I had to repeat myself several times since another woman came out of the back office and started gossiping about telling someone off. In between gossiping, she helped the other customer. Extremely unprofessional. The ink was about the same price as all the other places, except I had lousy service. I'll never be back. read more

This is the second time I am saying "never again will I have business with Tonerland." First time it was leaking toners that they sell - each and every one. We are a small business that operates at night, so unreliable toner was a disaster in the middle of operations. So, we switched to different supplier in 2010. Second time - I just ordered a toner for my home printer - spent 15 minutes placing order and reading the model number of my printer 5 times. The result - wrong toner that does not fit. READ THE FINE PRINT!!! I purchased a toner cartridge for almost $100 ($92.63) and it was defective and didn't work. When I tried to return it, I was told that they are not responsible for "O.E.M." (Original Equipment Manufacture) products. I tried to contact Hewlett-Packard directly but got the run-around for over two hours. Transferred to several different customer service reps in India and the Philippines. I finally gave up and am going to try one last time to get my money back from Tonerland and if they understand anything about customer service, they will refund my money for something they sold me that I am unable to use. read more

I have been coming here for a few years now & overall have had good experiences but today was it for me..I brought a printer in to be repaired but unfortunately it wasnt repairable. So I ended up having 8 brand new toners left for that unit. I called up and asked if they would be able to trade these toners in for the ones I needed since they were brand new.. Ben was cool and said sure...I come across town and bring them in. I asked for Ben but some old guy with glasses comes at me rude AF! Says for what! He questions whether I was even a customer...I explained what was up & told him i have 2 accounts under 2 phone #s...so he looks up the 1st one and says why dont I have any purchases on my account..I'm thinking I dont know man it's not like I go in to my account and track everything, he asks what type of toner I buy, what kind of printer and all kinds of printer talk..he then aggressively says that he wouldn't take the toners...so I'm like ok well I did say I had 2 accounts...look up the other one...there is where all my purchase history was.. but at that point he made up his mind..so I was like why are you so hostile? He yells out for Ben and trys to justify his behavior to me by mumbling some BS...Ben doesn't show..and hes there basically trying to dismiss me...so I'm like let your people know to be on the same page...you know I respect my elders so i just grabbed everything and left without saying much else...i really wanted to let him know what i thought.This dumb ass has been on earth long enough to know how to treat others and be respectful, the fact that you dont means you have wasted the valuable gift of life...this is not how you do business! Buying ink cartridges from Tonerland is risky. If the cartridge is bad - they will likely refer you to the manufacturer rather than handling a return for you. We've been trying to resolve the matter of replacing a $32 HP 61XL cartridge for about a week. Clearly Tonerland does not support their long-term customers. Buyer beware. UPDATE: HP eventually sent me a new 61XL cartridge and that solved the problem - Tonerland lost me as a customer because they refused to be helpful in replacing a defective product. read more

I own an Epson Artisan 710. I've been buying ink there for years. 1 time out of 10 the generic ink will not be recognized by the printer and can't be used. They told me to save the unused cartridges and mail them back - they would credit my account. I saved about 4-5 cartridges, shipped them back and confirmed arrival. I called in for a new order and the credit was never issued. Management understood the situation and could not assist. You will end up spending more money in the long-run buying their generic brands (at least for Epson users). read more
