Would absolutely NOT recommend!! I called this guy to see how quickly I could get into my house as it was an emergency. My 2 year old son had locked me out of the house. I was able to see him from outside watching TV, so I called the locksmith and asked how quickly he could be here and how quickly we could get in. I was told 15 minutes and we'd be in right away. He arrived and offered two options to get in - break my front lock for an extra fee (he had told me a flat fee on the phone) or get in through the back door. He didn't explain how long either of those things would take...he arrived in 15 minutes but then was fumbling around with my locks for another 15 plus, even after I told him to stop trying to get in since my husband was right down the road with the key. He wouldn't stop messing around with my doors. before you knew it, my husband was home with the backup key while this locksmith was still trying to get in. He charged me the full fee even though he hadn't gotten in timely, like he had promised me on the phone. This company needs to learn to communicate more effectively with customers. read more

Fast, efficient, courteous and more. I had to have a tumbler changed for a lock. (new key). I called in the morning and left a message. Mark got back to me within 30 minutes and he was able to change it that day. We made an appointment and discussed the price. He arrived on time, with a smile on his face, changed the cylinder in less than 15 minutes and the price was what he quoted. Kudos Mark.. it would have taken me at least 5 hours or more to do what he did. read more

I highly recommend Toms River Locksmith. After a recent home purchase in Bayville, we needed to have six locks on three exterior doors changed. I found this company through a Google search and after reading reviews, I called and left a voicemail. They returned my call within 15 to 20 minutes. I explained our issue and followed up by sending pictures of our existing hardware. They explained that since the brands of hardware did not match on each door, some may need to be changed out in order to have just one key work all locks. Gave me A verbal estimate over the phone and scheduled the job in a very reasonable timeframe and more importantly, when it worked for me. They text to confirm that that time still worked for me and arrived on time. Much to my surprise, instead of selling me on new hardware as I expected I may need, they were able to use supplies they had to get the job done well and save us money.
