Unreliable. Very convoluted communication. Doesn't respond to emails and texts after handing out…read morebusiness card. Makes commitments to work specific days, and despite several interem confirmation texts and emails from the customer, does not show up on the day scheduled, and does not give prior notice he doesnt plan to come that day. Mr. Spencer Hill's initial response on yelp was quick. My first impression was that he seemed cleancut and ready to do good work. He came over, handed me a card with email and phone number on it and said he was available Thursday and Friday. I said i would like to book him those days. He would give me an estimate. He sent an estimate. I said yes please. He took several days to get back to me, and then said he no longer could honor those days. He offere me monday. Although i had plan to leave the state, I again said yes please. I was only available to be there that week, and i changed my flight so i could meet him Monday. I sent some follow up messages. I sent a confirmation query the day before. He informed me the morning he was supposed to arrive to work that he couldn't come. Another problem is that he arbitrarilly wants to continue communication through the yelp platform, which is really just for finding businesses and sharing feedback. As a cultural norm, people communicate by phone, text and email for regular communication. It's weird to arbitrarilly move communication back to yelp after making phone/email/text contact. It's very odd to expect someone to use yelp like a texing platform on a continued basis. How would a customer even know to look there for ongoing messgaes? I hire a lot of workers and i have never encountered this before. It's especially odd after meeting in person and handing a customer a business card with a phone number and email on it. A business should take in to account what the customary mode of communication is, especially for the client base it serves. In particular, I feel strung along by this business at a very real cost.

First let me start with...I know all of the tradesmen and women are BUSY! There's never not a need…read more I respect that. I also value my own time and money. Being a homeowner is stressful and when something goes wrong, you need support and someone you trust that can help you. I'm a single mom and I work hard for all that I have. When I began to have a major plumbing issue, I was stressed!!! My home was built in 1900. It has a single pipe drain system to the city sewer. It became clogged (very slow moving) and guess what began slowly backing up into my basement?! You guessed it! Everything being flushed from my home. I called SIX plumbers. You know how many called me back? One, Royal Flush. (Again, respectfully..I understand how busy they are, but just a call back saying I can't would have been more helpful than radio silence) I called Royal Flush, left a message. Within minutes received a call back. By the end of the conversation, they would be here this afternoon!!!! What?! No way?! Today?! And guess what else??? They showed up, when they said they would. So informative. So kind. So professional. My stress and anxiety are gone and I can breathe easy again. Listen, owning a home is expensive but I'm more than happy to spend my money on quality, professionalism, and a company I can count on! Thank you Royal Flush for helping this mom out and removing some extensive stress!!!

Sinclair Heating Services are friendly and very nice people. I received service within minutes at…read moremy new residence because they were in my neighborhood! They are knowledgeable, answered questions tha really helped with a decision related to kerosene vs oil. After I chose #2 oil with a low cost additive (which they provided as well), the furnace in my newly purchased home ran more efficient and my home stayed warmer longer. The last tenants used kerosen, my furnace switched on and off like a kid playing with a light switch. With #2 oil with additive, the furnace does not do that, in turn, my electric bill will be lower because it needs electricity to turn on. Other oil companies were not knowledgeable with the use of an oil tanks capability for using oil or kerosen, and highly recommended the more expensive kerosen, which they were not providing at the beginning of the season, plus they advised against it. In addition, one of them had stuffy staff when it came to scheduling and new customers, delivering only on certain days of the wee. I did my online search prior to calling any of them. Sinclair was the only company who knew the grade of oil #2, knew and carried the additive and, that the same tank could be used. Plus, friendly and expedient. Sinclair home heating is a rare find.
