Love this winery. Haven't had a wine I didn't like yet. Free tastings. Very reasonable priced.

We stopped in at Bunnycup Winery for wine tasting while visiting friends in WI…read more This cute winery is set up with a tasting room, outdoor patio with a stage and event space on the property. When we arrived we headed straight to the tasting room. The staff were friendly and attentive. We decided on flights and they were served in proper tasting glasses on a board with oyster crackers. We headed out to the patio where there were several tables set up to enjoy the outdoor space. It was crowded! The yard had tents and trucks set up with activities and games for the kids as well as items for sale from different vendors. The reds were actually pretty good. I didn't know what to expect from grapes grown in WI but we had a good experience. We enjoyed music from the band and hung out in a nice relaxing atmosphere. We were checked on by the staff several times and were never left waiting for service. We enjoyed our time at Bunnycup Winery and will visit again.

Bunny Cup Winery: Where the Wine Is Legit and the Vibe Doesn't Suck…read more Looking for your next destination or the perfect pit stop before bolting from the Twin Cities? Look no further--Bunny Cup Winery is your move. Just 20 minutes from Taylors Falls, MN (or St. Croix Falls, WI if you swing that way), Bunny Cup sits in the heart of Wisconsin cabin country--Luck, WI, right by Balsam Lake. Owned and operated by a down-to-earth couple from Woodbury, MN, this place is pouring up small-batch wines that are bold, fun, and not trying to be Napa. And thank God for that. You won't find any of that overpriced "barely flavored vinegar water" here--nope. Just real-deal, full-flavor wines that you'll actually want to drink again. Their motto? "Seriously Unfussy." Their energy? Spot on. Bring the kids. Bring your dog. Bring your weird uncle. No one's judging. Add in food trucks like Drool-Worthy Creations (yes, that's us) and live music from local legends, and you've got the kind of afternoon that makes summer feel like it used to. New destination? Maybe. Unexpected tradition in the making? Absolutely. Make the drive. Make a memory. See you this weekend.

One of two wineries that were visited on a day trip to Taylor's Falls…read moreThis place has a rustic setting but a cute outdoor area where dogs are welcome and they do have live music Food- they have pizzas on site and various wines Not to be unfair but I'm not really a fan of our local MN wines, very sweet for me but there is usually one I find that I can sip on here They also offer glamping tents in the vineyards those look super cute and more info can be found on their website Service has been fine- you go inside to order at the counter and take your wines to your seating area

My friends invited me on a camping trip at WMW as they felt it would be a nice intro to tent…read morecamping/somewhat a glamping experience since they have showers and bathrooms as well as there's a winery. When we arrived the signs were a bit confusing as to where to go, we ended up pulling up to the house at the top of a hill but were given instructions to drive around the building past the bathrooms. When we got there there were carts to help us load and tote our stuff up to the camp site. There were multiple paths up to our site which was nice. The first night we decided to eat at the winery. We ordered a pizza, got a bottle of the sweet red wine and they had board games we could play as we waited for the pizza to cook. They wood fire Heggies pizza. We got a chicken Alfredo one which was really good, we ended up getting a second one. They had $10 wine slushies. Cath the bartender put us on to mixing the flavors. Both were really good and began our fav/go to drink for the weekend. Also Cath had great customer service and was there all weekend which was nice! She was great. We stayed at site 3 and it was a decent size, had a smaller 2 person bench/table, fire pit and was very well shaded. When it rained we didn't get too flooded out which was nice. The rest of the experience was mostly on us to make, during the day we took a walk and explored the vineyard. They had a few grapes growing, they also have yurts you can rent which is nice if you want to go full glamp. They were spacious and kind of had their own areas which in the vineyard. I will say there was a larger staying down by the yurts and we could hear them most of the night up in the woods where we were. Also live music at the tasting room/courtyard on Saturdays. They started around 12:30pm and went late into the evening. We could hear the music from our campsite which was nice. It rained that night so it started outside then they moved the music inside. Something to do though. They do have a coffee room that is open 24hrs which is nice. They sell snacks and stuff in there as well. Generally it was a good first experience/intro to camping despite it being a cold, rainy, summer weekend but I'd do it again.
