We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for wine tasting…read more We were greeted by the owner and he was pleasant. His wife, the owner/winemaker was there as well and stood up to greet us. I believe he said the wine tasting menu is split between wine with grapes they purchased to make wine, wine from other wineries and wine they make from their own grapes. We thought we should try the wines from their property because what is the point of trying wine from someone else. They also have a frozen wine we saw a few people stop in to purchase and people appeared to love it. We should have tried it! The wine flight was served in a little box with small plastic cups and a small souvenir wine glass. I feel terrible saying this but the wine was just terrible. We could barely finish the thimble size tasting of each wine. Perhaps we should have tried the wines they brought in or the frozen wine. They said the winery is up for sale. I hope it is purchased by someone who is passionate about winemaking and can make some delicious wine with the grapes from the property.

There's 2 rooms when you enter, on the left is the tasting room and dining area. Huge bar to walk up to order the flights or glass of wine. The have food too, not a big selection but charcuterie board and pizza. Additional to wine, they also offer coffee and beer. The second room to the right is smaller, more intimate like a bar. We got a small souvenir glass with our flight for free.

When we arrived the place looked closed and we weren't sure what to make of it. When we came into the space it was very dark and it remained dark the entire time we were there which I thought was odd. But the winery is powered by solar panels which I thought was cool! But I swear it must've been 50 degrees inside the building because half of us were freezing. It also looked like a lot of the decorations were incredibly old and outdated and hadn't been dusted in a long time. The woman that helped to service us was very nice and personable and I thought we had a good time talking to her and her husband. They told us a lot about the winery and how the community helps to keep it running. I've never been to such a small winery like this one so it was nice to hear how they keep it running! The wine: the reason why im not giving this a lower star rating is because of how good the wines and prices were. For less than ten dollars you can sample 5 wines and they let us pair up and share tastings so we could try them all! I loved each wine and they all tasted unlike any other wines I've ever tasted. Very fruity and fragrant and delicious. :) Overall I think if the owners added more lights and cleaned up the decorations this place could easily jump from a 3 to a 4!

Our servers were very friendly, shared interesting info about the wines and were just fun company. We enjoyed all the different wine selections and walked away with a couple of bottles. When we arrived we headed straight to the tasting room. The staff were friendly and attentive. We decided on flights and they were served in proper tasting glasses on a board with oyster crackers. We headed out to the patio where there were several tables set up to enjoy the outdoor space. It was crowded! The yard had tents and trucks set up with activities and games for the kids as well as items for sale from different vendors. The reds were actually pretty good. I didn't know what to expect from grapes grown in WI but we had a good experience. We enjoyed music from the band and hung out in a nice relaxing atmosphere. We were checked on by the staff several times and were never left waiting for service. We enjoyed our time at Bunnycup Winery and will visit again.

We were greeted by Katey who sat us up for the tastings and explained the process. At that point, Amelia stepped in to run us through the variety of wines. We took our table number then found a great spot on the patio with views of the beautiful vineyard. We were brought our first tasing which we chose all reds. Are they Napa or French quality wines? Absolutely not. However, they are good for WI wines and we have been to a variety of wineries in WI. We also ordered a pizza which was very tasty. Served on a thin crust. Perfect for an afternoon lunch and tasting. Amelia tended to our table and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect wine tasting experience on the patio. We then ordered a tasting of their fruity wines which included a light rhubarb wine. These were light and refreshing so we purchased a couple of bottles to enjoy in a beautiful summer day. We also ordered a chocolate desert wine and purchased that as well. I would recommend stopping in on a beautiful day so you can enjoy the patio and walk through the vineyard. Beautiful spot for pictures as well.
