I have had many bad experiences at salons with stylists that would always comment on how difficult my hair is to work with. This made me dread going to get my hair done. After a horror visit to a previous salon, I came to Stephanie in a panic asking her to fix what was done. Stephanie listened to my concerns and made sure that she knew exactly what I was hoping to accomplish. She assured me that we would get as close to my goal as we could. It was the first time I have ever felt completely at ease getting my hair done and the final results was incredible. I will never trust anyone else with my hair again. The entire staff at Salon Lis A Lis is welcoming , energetic , and extremely talented. They take their time and never make their clients feel rushed or insignificant. Even under extremely challenging circumstances, they will somehow make it work. I have had the most relaxing experiences here and always leave feeling absolutely amazing. While other tans I've gotten consist of the typical "spray, spray, turn, spray, spray, arms up" etc., then done, Val took the time to scrutinize her work both in the pop-up tent and out of it in the brighter light to make sure everything was perfect. Additionally, she guarantees her tans, so if there are any issues after the fact she will immediately fix them (which is amazing given the myriad ways you can mess up your tan yourself by accident). As for professionalism, she's everything you want in interactions with a business. She is an extremely prompt communicator, will work around your schedule, and her set-up is quick, clean, and efficient. She is very friendly and kind as well. I would recommend Alua Tan to anyone!

I was offered a level 2 - which are very tight and uncomfortable, i asked if i would get a credit if i used a level 2 since i paid for level 3. The girl offered me the difference of $4.00 as a credit which i accepted until a minute later when she said she needed to check with her manager. Once she did, he said that was not possible. When i said if thats the case i wouldnt be renewing once i was done, she acted offended and said it was 'bad luck'. Had she not offered me the credit and then rescinded i might have a different opinion. Too bad north shore tans is not in business anymore- they had the nicest staff, roomiest tanning beds, and most incredible customer service.
