As you can see from my pictures, my hair went from brassy oranges and yellows to a beautiful silky silver in a couple hours. Ana fixes my hair and told me proper hair care to insure my hair stays fresh for longer. I also got a trim and got styled. My hair is now silky, ombréd, and wedding ready! I'm literally so happy with the results I could cry! My boyfriend came in for a fresh fade for his hair too. He usually goes to super high end barbers back home but since our trip was so last minute, we came here for all our hair needs. Phanny took care of him and his hair looks better than what it looks like with the high end barbers. They really know Asian hair and their service is top notch. The reason I come back here over and over again is thanks to the compliments I'm constantly receive for my hair. I have long, relatively straight hair that is pretty much good to go as soon as I wake up. This salon has a lovely atmosphere to it, its trendy and hip- and it makes me feel 'cool' for being there. When you enter you are greeted by whoevers at the counter, there's usually a short wait (despite having an appointment booked), and you are always offered some sort of hot beverage. The magazines here are fashionable and new (no who weekly in sight) and the area is kept clean and hair free. I get 'guy' to cut my hair, it gets washed first, then blow dried and finally cut (no wet hair cutting). Usually take close to an hour (including waiting time at the start). I love this place and will probably stick with them forever. The price is definitely on the high side, but I say it's worth it.

Sometimes the staff (not Frank) can seem a tad aloof but I think they're getting better and honestly, it's probably just because they're so busy all of the time. The head massages are to die for and make up for any perceived snootiness anyhow. Parking can be a witch, but if you park out in the 2 or 4 hour lots near the train station you'll be right. Do not park in front because if you're even a millisecond late back to the car, you will get fined. I'm told that Rokk Ebony prices are expensive but I think they're reasonable, especially for the great cut you'll walk out with. Can't wait to go back.

This is where I should have made myself clearer that I wanted an asymmetrical bob with a small side shave (I got a laugh and a big no) not an A line but but neither of them seemed to understand and had already started cutting. I am satisfied with the outcome but it wasn't what I originally wanted but for the price and timing it worked out. I went to this hair salon to have a straight haircut and this man asked his assistance to wet my…read morehair and comb it down and there after I sat there waiting for my haircut. This man approached me after few minutes of sitting there and said, "stand up" and I stood up confused, because none of the other hairdressing salon I had been asked me to do this before. When I stood up, he went through my hair cutting it, which took less than 2 minutes. Then he showed my hair in the mirror and asked me if it was the right length and I said yes and then he just left me there and walked off to another customer. He did not mention weather he was finished with my hair cut or what I am supposed to do. I stood there thinking he might come back and finish my hair cut, after a minute or 2 of standing there wondering on what I am supposed to do now, I realized that the job was done, and I was meant to pay and leave. I had to take off the plastic wrapper he put around me to cut my hair by myself and go to the counter to pay. I left the salon with my daughter in shock and felt utterly humiliated by the experience. Regardless to say that I will never be going back there for anything from now on and would advise people who is thinking of going to this salon, pls think twice you might be humiliated and treated just the way I got treated here. My hair is the source of many compliments, and has even been literally 'patted' by a few celebrities. Elio is an amazing cutter. Trained in the heyday of fringes, bobs, bottle blonde and pixie short crops, no matter which head he touches, the results are always A+. The salon is modern, but low-key and very reasonably priced. They use L'Oreal Colour, and stock a good range products for purchase from Label M, GHD and L'Oreal.
