I emailed and they corrected it and said the next month it would be the higher amount. Today, it was an even higher amount that originally quoted in the email. I asked to cancel and get a full refund and they refused because "credit surcharges are a common practice across many industries today, as they help cover the costs associated with payment processing and other operational expenses. As such, these surcharges are non-refundable. We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, and we appreciate your understanding." Nowhere in any paperwork or email was I told about a surcharge for a credit card. In my initial charge, there was not a surcharge for a credit card. I am not frustrated about the price. I am frustrated that TWICE I was charged more than I was supposed to be charged. This is NOT a good business practice.

My 2023 VW Atlas is quite low to the ground and that's probably why I didn't notice it sooner. After putting it on a lift, I realized that only 3 fasteners were left of the 14 originally. I'm now sure if they simply didn't reinstall them or left them loose, any way I hold this business responsible. I would have spoke directly to them however they won't answer and corporate customer service won't call back. After the $140 oil change now I've gotta buy a $160 part (plus screws) to replace the piece that drug on the highway for hundreds of miles. If Take 5 sees this and wants to pay for the repairs, I'll gladly remove this review.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with Tommy's Car Wash on Hwy 165 in Monroe left me no choice but to speak up. I've been a loyal, paying member for roughly 7-8 months, possibly close to a year. I drive a practically brand-new vehicle, and one day after going through their wash, the rear windshield wiper blade and cap came off, bending the blade holder so it no longer functioned properly. I immediately reported the damage to management and requested original replacement parts. Their first response was, "We can't do OEM parts -- we'd have to order from Amazon." I declined and was told I could handle the repair myself and bring back the receipt for reimbursement. Since Monroe doesn't have a dealership for my type of vehicle, I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to Jackson, MS, had it repaired at the dealership, and returned with my paid receipt. I expected a straightforward process. Instead, I was told the district manager needed to "look into it." Days later, when I came back expecting reimbursement, I was met with more delays and excuses. After months of loyalty, this has been both disheartening and disappointing. Worth Metroplex whete I work (1 in Euless & 2 in Denton Park hat I know of)... So no matter where I'm at, if I need my truck washed; I can make it happen... To top it all off, if you purchase the monthly plan, you can use a Tommy's car wash multiple times in 1 day (whereas, others only allow a single wash per day)... Which is horrible, especially if you're vehicle is more than just a standard dirty... I left Tommy's for 1 month & never again.., Just wish they had the bug was stations with brushes to use before going through the entrance...
