I wash our vehicles constantly and this is the best way I have found to keep them clean.

We have a monthly membership and love the ease of just having drive stall (I guess thats what it's called) read our license plate and driving through. Unlimited washes in a month. So if we go someplace after a wash in the morning we can still drive through before date night. There are do it yourself vacuums. But I will be honest I keep my car clean on the inside so either my husband does that or we get a detail every so often. read more

This is an update: even after the business owner posted a note, nothing has been fixed. There was no attempt to address any of the issues. I also made multiple requests for refunds for the washes I paid for, and every single one was denied. Anyone who continues to use patronized this company is wasting their money. You'd be better off washing your vehicle yourself. read more

I have been a long time member of Tommy's car wash in Menifee California. I give 90% of issues such as employees vacuums cleanliness Highmarks. There has been an ongoing problem since I joined, and the other day manifested itself horribly. At the end of the car wash there are these gray spinners that only get my mirrors. Since I am only a value member these gray spinning cloths have picked up a lot of the tire shine that is the last thing cars and trucks get if they purchase it. This tire shine gets all over my windshield roof, trunk hood, etc. I have tried everything to get it off my windshield and rear windscreen and my side windows. It is darn near impossible! This morning I used a mixture of dawn, dishwashing detergent, a little alcohol and hot water and after scrubbing, I think I got most of it off. I'm not going to use that on my hood trunk and roof since that will strip the wax off. I really wish they would eliminate these gray spinners as I am now thinking of resigning my membership. I hope the owners address this issue as quickly as possible, as I am truly not going to bring my car through the wash until something changes ....like I said otherwise an excellent car wash. read more

I wanted to report back after working with Tommy's on the damage to my car. I contacted the manager and set up an appointment at 6:30. The Manager told me he would not be there, but that I could speak with his associate. When I got there, his associate was not there, but the employee told me he had been brought up to speed and he could take pictures of my car. We went outside and he took a few pictures with his cell phone. The next day I received a phone call from the manager, telling me that I needed to come back in because I had only spoken with an employee and not a manager. This was a bit annoying as I had made the appointment for 6:30 PM and showed up as I said I would. I brought the car back again and the manager pulled out his phone and told me that he had looked at some pictures from my first visit "mid September" and I already had the damage. This date did not seem right so I went back to my credit card statement and saw that my first billing was September 9 which meant I joined 30 days prior. He did not pull up any pictures from that visit in August, only pictures after I had visited several times and had obtained the damage. My experience with this company has not definitively not been a pleasant one. I have been driving for approximately 35 years and have never had damaged to any of my cars like I had coming to this car wash. read more

Had a horrible experience with the Menifee, Newport Road Tommy's Express location over the weekend ?!? Terrible customer service from their manager on duty being very rude and not wanting to do her job! They would not correct a billing issue on their end and even charged two seperate credit cards of mine, even charged one card twice for the same monthly billing. They would not fix their issues with my billing and made me go direct to their corporate office to resolve this. This franchise even cancelled my membership after full payment was made for the month, thus not allowing my company to use my account for the remaining 28 already paid billing days. I even filed a formal complaint with corporate Tommy's Express against the manage on duty Monday. I am now just letting people know how this companies franchise operates. Drove in from New York, Upstate. Stopped to wash the dirt and bugs off. Got home and front of car looked like the water didn't touch it. Soap still on car. Called left message and name, number. Never heard anything from anyone. After returning back, went back to the car wash. Explained my situation. Manager, ower, whoever decided they were not going to honor a car wash. Well, lost a customer and will tell everyone in my neighborhood what happened. I wouldn't have been so disappointed, if was welcome a returned call. Very efficient car wash. I pay for the monthly pricing & go a couple times a month. They offer deals from time to time that saves you a bunch. Their cameras identify your car instantly & then you pull through to get the wash. Pretty easy setup. They have a phone app that's useful. And you can get text reminders if your month is coming to an end. They also have vacuums around the side of the wash. Overall, it's well worth it in my opinion. read more

I have been a member for the past 2 months and I've had great experiences every time I'm there. I do have 2 cars on the monthly plan and one on a pay as you use basis. Would be great if they offer multiple car discounts, but having the first month free was nice lol. The only issue I have is that the suction on the vacuums are very low and it takes twice as long to vacuum. Fix the vacuums and I give it a solid 5 star review. read more

Zero stars, bought the second highest wash and it didn't even clean the driver's side. Looks like I parked next to a sprinkler. The vacuums have no suctions, and the spots are ridiculously close together. I have a Rav4, so it's not even a large vehicle. Went through for my commuter car and wanted the cheap wash. I finished and left and was on my way home when I looked at my receipt and found I was charged double!! I was still on Newport so I called and told them the situation. The girl was nice and said to come back so they could make it right. I turned around, pulled up to the window and gave her my receipt. Manager came over and refunded the first transaction and then charged me for the cheaper wash. He was nice and apologized. I was sandwiched because there were cars behind me so I had no choice but to go through the wash again. Overall I think the car wash is great and the price is definitely affordable considering there are hand wash places that are charging as much as $90 for a Dually Truck. We paid $20 and despite a couple left over spots on the windshield (to be expected, it's a Ram 3500, its giant and tough to clean regardless) the truck was left very clean and dry. We also went on a warmer day so it dried up quickly. The employee at the service window was VERY helpful and patient and explained the membership to us in detail, they're located all over the US which is great for truckers. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Update- December 2, 2022, Kenny from Tommy Express mitigated all the concerns regarding the scratches on my car! Kenny was beyond professional, and he took care of my truck! The vehicle was left in pristine condition. Initially, my first interactions with some of the staff were unprofessional due to the nature/condition of my car was left in after being serviced at the wash. I would recommend training your management in conflict resolution and customer service. However, Kenny saved the day and remedied the concern immediately. I canceled my membership with the company because damage can occur while using their facility, but overall, the customer service was excellent. read more

Thought I would give this place a try. My experience was on the plus side it is fast, but I would not say the car wash itself is very good. After running my car through there were still bugs and dirt I had to clean off by hand. So bring a cloth towel or two to finish the job yourself. You will need to do a lot of the drying, vacuuming and, widows. Note, the vacuums worked well for me which is a plus. Speaking of notes, they played loud Country Music the entire time I was finishing up my car. Country is okay, but not everyone is a fan. It would be nice to switch up the song selection once awhile. Horrible company. I pay monthly ($29.99) and always go through express, but now always waiting to be let in. Today I needed to know why my express is never expresses. I find out they took me off express abs been charging me $16 each wash. I went on 8/24/2021 at $16 and 8/26/21at $16 and today 9/14/21 at $16. The manager could not answer the question, but he had a temper tantrum and cussed me out because I have a brain and know that $16 x 3 is far more than I would pay monthly. I use express car washes all the time! All over the place. I am not a fan of this one. I use it in emergencies if there's no other option. The vacuums don't have much power. The vacuums constantly turn off. You have to stop to go push the restart button. Annoying and lengthens your cleaning process. The car spots for vacuuming are too close together. Often no parking space available to vacuum and only a one way exit. Gets quite congested and the process is more time consuming amd anxiety enducing then necessary. Impressed with this place! It's a drive-thru wash with 4 options. You don't have to worry about your car or tires getting messed up - your car is put on neutral while on a belt, with wide spacing in the wash and no rails at all. It is pretty fast and goes through several soap and wash cycles, then the coating cycle, all while moving the whole time. The air dry at the end dries nicely, no spots left. The Works wash was $15 and I was surprised how well it cleaned my car - my car was filthy! It even got my rims nicely, which never happens in automatic washes. After you get out, there are free vacuums for use and you can pay $3 for a detail kit through an automatic station - you swipe your card and a detail kit comes out. The vaccuum nozzles are overhead so you can clean the inside nicely. Definitely a fan - I'll be coming here a lot! So fast and simple! read more

Wasn't able to get ahold of the Site Leader Mike, but was referred to the facility manager Kenny Wymen instead, and let me just say I have never been treated with as much respect and kindness as a customer at any business before! Got a response right away after calling on 5/15/21. Kenny was eager and determined to make things right. I could tell right off the bat he took so much pride in this facility. He ran me through the car wash TWICE, then personally spot detail some hard water residue that was left on my car. He was extremely knowledgeable (having I believe 15+ years of experience in this industry under his belt) and informed me on some tips that I can do to protect my car and get the best wash possible. His remarkable compassion, understanding, generosity, and hard work is something I will always remember. Please retrain employees at the window! Drove up today to purchase a single month on my truck, kid ended up billing a random card on my account even though I had the card I wanted to use in my hand. He didn't even ask before charging! Luckily he at least clarified "only this one?" instead of charging me the $34.99 for the three cars in my account. Couldn't even print a reciept and now I have to deal with the hassle of trying to cancel in one month instead of being worry free. I am used to more. There was no line when I went through the wash. I got the Ultimate for $12. I am used to having someone tape down the wiper in the back, but that didn't happen here. I am also used to a quick hand wash, but there was no one to do that here. They do have free vacuums. There were plenty of vacuums open. There is only one handle option, the long skinny one. Makes it take longer to do seats, but good to get between the door and seat. I am also used to an air hose and towels, but there was none of that here. They do give you the option to purchase a "detailer kit" for $3. I guess you can the car wash I went to in San Diego spoiled their customers with the extra free options I mentioned.
