This location used to be a supposed to be solid when I first started coming here a year ago, but has gone downhill fast. My car hasn't been getting clean! I this up bought to the Management they only answer was to send it back through the car wash over and over after five or six attempts with no improvement. Very efficient car wash. I pay for the monthly pricing & go a couple times a month. They offer deals from time to time that saves you a bunch. Their cameras identify your car instantly & then you pull through to get the wash. Pretty easy setup. They have a phone app that's useful. Zero stars, bought the second highest wash and it didn't even clean the driver's side. Looks like I parked next to a sprinkler. The vacuums have no suctions, and the spots are ridiculously close together. I have a Rav4, so it's not even a large vehicle. I have been a member for the past 2 months and I've had great experiences every time I'm there. I do have 2 cars on the monthly plan and one on a pay as you use basis. Would be great if they offer multiple car discounts, but having the first month free was nice lol. The only issue I have is that the suction on the vacuums are very low and it takes twice as long to vacuum. Fix the vacuums and I give it a solid 5 star review. read more

Overall I think the car wash is great and the price is definitely affordable considering there are hand wash places that are charging as much as $90 for a Dually Truck. We paid $20 and despite a couple left over spots on the windshield (to be expected, it's a Ram 3500, its giant and tough to clean regardless) the truck was left very clean and dry. We also went on a warmer day so it dried up quickly. The employee at the service window was VERY helpful and patient and explained the membership to us in detail, they're located all over the US which is great for truckers. Went through for my commuter car and wanted the cheap wash. I finished and left and was on my way home when I looked at my receipt and found I was charged double!! I was still on Newport so I called and told them the situation. The girl was nice and said to come back so they could make it right. I turned around, pulled up to the window and gave her my receipt. Manager came over and refunded the first transaction and then charged me for the cheaper wash. He was nice and apologized. I was sandwiched because there were cars behind me so I had no choice but to go through the wash again. Update- December 2, 2022, Kenny from Tommy Express mitigated all the concerns regarding the scratches on my car! Kenny was beyond professional, and he took care of my truck! The vehicle was left in pristine condition. Initially, my first interactions with some of the staff were unprofessional due to the nature/condition of my car was left in after being serviced at the wash. I would recommend training your management in conflict resolution and customer service. However, Kenny saved the day and remedied the concern immediately. I canceled my membership with the company because damage can occur while using their facility, but overall, the customer service was excellent. read more

Whenever we're in the Menifee area We will stop in at Tommy's express car wash to get our car cleaned. What I really love about Tommy's is that they have many vacuum's available for anyone who want's to vacuum their own vehicle. This way you can make sure it's done the way that you want & like! One time there was still bird poop on my window and they let me run it though the wash one more time just to get the off! Anyways it was well worth the money! My car was nice and clean! Spots and streaks all over the place from there dirty rollers. Not enough time on the dryer. Give some space between cars so we can at least blow the water off. Not coming back. Thought I would give this place a try. My experience was on the plus side it is fast, but I would not say the car wash itself is very good. After running my car through there were still bugs and dirt I had to clean off by hand. So bring a cloth towel or two to finish the job yourself. You will need to do a lot of the drying, vacuuming and, widows. Note, the vacuums worked well for me which is a plus. Speaking of notes, they played loud Country Music the entire time I was finishing up my car. Country is okay, but not everyone is a fan. It would be nice to switch up the song selection once awhile. I use express car washes all the time! All over the place. I am not a fan of this one. I use it in emergencies if there's no other option. The vacuums don't have much power. The vacuums constantly turn off. You have to stop to go push the restart button. Annoying and lengthens your cleaning process. The car spots for vacuuming are too close together. Often no parking space available to vacuum and only a one way exit. Gets quite congested and the process is more time consuming amd anxiety enducing then necessary. Horrible company. I pay monthly ($29.99) and always go through express, but now always waiting to be let in. Today I needed to know why my express is never expresses. I find out they took me off express abs been charging me $16 each wash. I went on 8/24/2021 at $16 and 8/26/21at $16 and today 9/14/21 at $16. The manager could not answer the question, but he had a temper tantrum and cussed me out because I have a brain and know that $16 x 3 is far more than I would pay monthly. Please retrain employees at the window! Drove up today to purchase a single month on my truck, kid ended up billing a random card on my account even though I had the card I wanted to use in my hand. He didn't even ask before charging! Luckily he at least clarified "only this one?" instead of charging me the $34.99 for the three cars in my account. Couldn't even print a reciept and now I have to deal with the hassle of trying to cancel in one month instead of being worry free. I am used to more. There was no line when I went through the wash. I got the Ultimate for $12. I am used to having someone tape down the wiper in the back, but that didn't happen here. I am also used to a quick hand wash, but there was no one to do that here. They do have free vacuums. There were plenty of vacuums open. There is only one handle option, the long skinny one. Makes it take longer to do seats, but good to get between the door and seat. I am also used to an air hose and towels, but there was none of that here. They do give you the option to purchase a "detailer kit" for $3. I guess you can the car wash I went to in San Diego spoiled their customers with the extra free options I mentioned. Impressed with this place! It's a drive-thru wash with 4 options. You don't have to worry about your car or tires getting messed up - your car is put on neutral while on a belt, with wide spacing in the wash and no rails at all. It is pretty fast and goes through several soap and wash cycles, then the coating cycle, all while moving the whole time. The air dry at the end dries nicely, no spots left. The Works wash was $15 and I was surprised how well it cleaned my car - my car was filthy! It even got my rims nicely, which never happens in automatic washes. After you get out, there are free vacuums for use and you can pay $3 for a detail kit through an automatic station - you swipe your card and a detail kit comes out. The vaccuum nozzles are overhead so you can clean the inside nicely. Definitely a fan - I'll be coming here a lot! So fast and simple! read more

I've been a customer at Tommy's since they've opened their car wash. Today during my wash I was packed in behind a lady very closely causing my car to bump hers during the wash. Thankfully no damage was done. When I called after the manager Pedro said that they just reviewed the tape and that we weren't that close. I've been going there for years and never has this happened to me. I don't appreciate the way the situation was handled. He tried to say I could go back and review the footage, but if we weren't too close then there should've been no reason for our cars even hitting. I won't be going back to this car wash and I will make sure my friends and family know how shitty the service is here. read more

Wasn't able to get ahold of the Site Leader Mike, but was referred to the facility manager Kenny Wymen instead, and let me just say I have never been treated with as much respect and kindness as a customer at any business before! Got a response right away after calling on 5/15/21. Kenny was eager and determined to make things right. I could tell right off the bat he took so much pride in this facility. He ran me through the car wash TWICE, then personally spot detail some hard water residue that was left on my car. He was extremely knowledgeable (having I believe 15+ years of experience in this industry under his belt) and informed me on some tips that I can do to protect my car and get the best wash possible. His remarkable compassion, understanding, generosity, and hard work is something I will always remember. He highly exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to correct my previous experience. Thank you so much again Kenny for your exceptional customer service!
