Had a ceiling leak in the last major rain, and roofer said it was probably the chimney cap. So I took off the chimney chase cover and cap - yeah, that then made sense... termites on the corner stud going down, right where the ceiling stain was. It made sense to me to tent rather than try to spot-treat. Tombstone Termite came up quick in my search. Good reviews. Got a quote, and it seemed reasonable for tenting and still made more sense to me than trying spot treatment. I also had Mike re-do the wood trim up there, and nice job on that. Easy/flexible to work with, good communication, and very straightforward and honest. I did get a little concerned on tenting day - Mike wasn't there at that time, so I gave the keys to my humble castle :-) to the termite tenting people and drove off for 2-3 days. But I figured that's on me to be better prepared for that, so I then changed the locks to Kwikset smart key style, so next time around it's an easy fix to re-key. Paranoid me, but no reason to think it was needed :-). I'm new to having others do things on my house, and don't want to feel like I got taken advantage of because I didn't understand the workings of things. Never got that feeling from Mike.
