We can find something fun here to do always although it's a library. They have a website that you can go on to see the library activities and it's for most of the libraries in the woodlands area. As with all libraries they have different sections for each age groups, downstairs is for the young kids and pre teens and upstairs is for older and adults. They have sitting areas in the lobby where we'll have our snacks. We come here on school holidays and days off to chill and relax read a few books and play. The toddlers love it here, with the play kitchen and mats with blocks and puzzles. They also have baby dolls and cribs for them to play and interact. Adequate seating area for parents to watch their kids and even to grab a book and read while they play. For me it's half hour away from home but it's always worth the drive.

I've only checked out books - so I can't speak for all of their services, but I've had a good experience every time. I had heard about this place being a little far from Houston, but it wasn't too bad. It took me…read moreabout 30 minutes in the middle of day, but I had to make an appointment the day before and they asked me when I was coming for. I actually needed a quiet place to study that was away from my home because my husband works from home so I picked this place. When you get to the gate, you have to call them and then they confirm that it's you they let you in and then there's a designated parking area which has a lot of spaces. They also check your ID once you walk into the library and then give you a sticker. After that you are good to go and study wherever you want. I even walked around the grounds for a little bit on my way out. It looks very English countryside, even though I've never been to the English countryside. I think this is what it would look like. Library is beautiful and clean and temperature is perfect. Everyone working there is extremely friendly and it's such a beautiful place.

Lucked out on a rare Saturday off by finding a gem of a bookstore in Tomball, TX…read more The owner named Cyndi, was super nice and attentive and even offered me a piece of chewing gum when she heard me clearing my throat while exploring her wonderful selection up and down the aisle. She said chewing gum normally helps her when she has a tickle in her throat; now that's what I call customer service and Cyndi seems to go above and beyond by how neat and organized her shop is and how kind she is towards everyone that walked in while we were there. If you are not near this splendid shop, do yourself a favor and hoo into the car and head over to browse the great selection from an honest-to-goodness small independent business. You'll find something good for yourself and your family and above all, you'll receive superb first-class service and attention from Cyndi in her lovely, cozy and inviting little book store. I love the library's digital catalog for checking out audiobooks. When checking out physical books…read morethey have a drop box located on the exterior of the building to return books. This library is a bit dated and old. So if you are looking for a place to study, they have limited study rooms. There aren't a lot of areas for you to sit and plug in your laptop. If you just need a chair or table without a power source there is ample seating to just sit and read. The ambient lighting is limited.

This place has definitely kept me and my family beat the summer boredom and HEAT this year! You might not know but here you can get free flower and herbs seeds to grow for free. I love that! They also have coloring pages and puzzles to work on for kids and adults. We're waiting on the cafe to open and until that happens that'll just bring this library awesomeness to the next level.

I've been coming here sometimes when I don't feel like working/studying from home and need to change the scenery. There's also private study rooms available on a first come, first serve basis which can be booked for up to 2 hrs. Plenty of books and reading material for kids as well. One of the very first things we did after we moved to the area was to stop by and get a library…read morecard. We received nothing but excellent service while here. The lady who helped us with our card was very kind to explain all libraries we have access to, including Harris County Libraries as well as digital access through Libby and Overdrive. Like other libraries, you can access your account online and from there select titles to pickup at the library. If they don't have it available, they transfer between libraries and send an email when your materials are ready to be picked up. They also self renew. The library has a large variety of books to choose from. I did, however, found their Children's selection to be a bit small. They have movies and plenty of audio books. I'm still not familiar with everything else that they offer, but I did find a calendar on their website with listed summer activities for kids and adults as well. A suggestion for them would be to try and add those events into their Facebook page events. It seems their Facebook page is not very active. Other than that, very pleased with this location.
