Even though I live nearly an hour away, I still will go to them for all my auto repair needs (except oil changes, but even then if I can make it happen I'll go to Car One). There is almost no company or business I can think of that is better at customer service. If I was to right a dissertation on a PHD for "What makes a small business great" it would be about these guys. 1. They never lie to me. I trust them so much that I literally tell them "yes" to anything they say needs to be done to my car. This is due to them building up trust with me over the years to where I don't need to think about if they are trying to rip me off or not. They can see this review, so next time they see me, they COULD rip me off but I know they won't. 2. The customer service skills - they always seem to remember who I am the moment I say my name, even if I have not talked to them in over a year. Now, look at the attached picture. They literally filled out my mail-in-rebate for the tires I got from them. They even included the stamp!! They didn't have to do it, but they offered it without me asking and took care of it for me. 3. Loyalty. Read the other reviews on here. There is one guy who says he drives from Des Moines, IA because he refuses to go anywhere else. That's what it means to be loyal to a business. In Summary - there's no one better out there to work on your car. If you don't go here, it's your loss.

I had such an GREAT experience at the Pep Boys that I felt I needed to share…read more I originally took my Honda Civic to the dealership because my air conditioning wasn't working. The dealership told me the issue was not the compressor seal (which is under warranty), but instead a completely different component that would cost me around $4,000 to repair. Wanting a second opinion, I brought my car here--and I am so glad I did. Ray, the manager, and his team spent over two hours thoroughly checking my car. They were incredibly professional, kind, and patient, and they even honored a coupon I brought in! Most importantly, they told me the truth: it WAS the compressor seal. Because of their honesty, I'm now able to take my car back to the dealership and have the repair covered under warranty--saving thousands of dollars. It's rare to find a shop you can truly trust, but this is one of them. Ray runs a place that clearly values integrity over quick profit, and that says everything. After several attempts to contact Leah, I have heard NOTHING from her or the alleged Customer Relations Team nor the Field Leadership Team. This lack of response from Leah only reinforces the Pep Boys attitude of ignore customers complaints and treat customers rudely. I have contacted Leah as I said, and after several attempts to determine what, if anything, Pep Boys would do. As of 12-23-25, I can tell you they ignored me. I have never received any more communication from Leah. As a member of the Customer Relations Team, I can document no responses and can only assume the rude behavior I experienced at the store is the model that Pep Boys desires of their employees. Pep Boys leads by their dismal example. No wonder their employees don't care. Management doesn't care.

Belle Tire Hoffman Estates provided a great customer experience!…read more I checked several local places for new tire options and Belle Tire consistently came out to be the best pricing option, especially when I heard about their current soecial. David and Scott were very helpful before and during my service. I appreciated the thorough details regarding my new tires and the instructions for taking advantage of a $140 in rebates. I purchased the Michelin Defenders. The waiting room here is also very spacious, cool and comfortable. Great experience, all around. Thank you guys for so working hard in this exreme Summer heat too. You are appreciated!

These guys do good and honest work for a pretty decent price. A couple of minor gripes…read more.. 1. I was told first come, first serve in the mornings. I pulled in the lot a half hour before they open (open at 7:30am). Even in a blizzard, there are folks lining up outside the door 10+ minutes before they open. With a handicap, you might not be able to stand in line for 20 minutes. It would be a great thing to have some number system or way to make an appointment (where that doesn't evolve into a half day thing for an oil change). 2. The parking lot is always choked full of cars. And driving in circles to find a spot isn't the easiest in this lot. Still, this is a great place in terms of value and quality of work.

With a job that sometimes has me traveling around the burbs, my breaks were in need of replacement. I called in the morning and they were able to fit my car in and finish it same day! We had a $120 off coupon that expired end of Feb but they still acknowledged it. It was easy for them to send me an estimate to my phone, texts when my car was ready for pick up, and allowed payment via text link or in person. Will was very professional and nice during the whole experience! They are ASE Certified and a AAA Approved Repair Vendor. Tip: Casey Automotive is one of the few in Illinois to receive the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence! Their mechanics are top notch so you can trust them when in need of car servicing!

I read reviews on yelp and thought gave it a try, for suburban tire…read more I was a BGFS for brake job. They checked the brake and gave me a big lie on why i need new brakes and a tie rod. Cost $2075. I than left and here and drove to suburban tire, right from the start they welcomed me, i told them about the brake making noise, they checked the brakes and told me it only needs cleaning, they cleaned the brake and the noise went away, its been a week know and the brakes are fine, they also checked the tie rod and told me the screw was loose. This job cost me $120 thanks to suburban auto. Stay away from BGFS

Our parking brake would not disengage. We had it towed to FTD and they charged us just under $1,000…read moreto disengage it. They later told us they'd cut the brake line(s) and had to order new parts to fix the parking brake release. Then they text us a video of the back suspension of our vehicle moving super loosely BECAUSE THEY'D CUT THE BRAKE LINES, but tried to 'sell' us on replacing the entire brake system because it was too loose to be safely driven. We lost IMMEDIATE respect for them when they first quoted us just under $1,000 to disengage the parking brake, so we told them we wanted them to do NOTHING else. Then, after we picked up the vehicle, Christina had the audacity to call and leave us a voicemail trying to upsell us yet AGAIN because "well, I don't want to worry you, but the vehicle isn't safe to drive, so give us a call back today because we're running a special, blah, blah, blah." We will NEVER use FTD again and DO NOT recommend them to friend or foe.

Do not take your car here for more than tires. They do poor work and even use re-built defective…read moreparts. Even if the work is under warranty they will tell you there is still a charge for something else related to same problem. Stay away. You will have to bring the car back.

Visited this business today due to a flat tire at 5:10pm. The front window "open" sign was lighted…read more(as you can see in the photo). Walked inside the store and was this employee (dressed with a green sweater with a hoodie) counting money on the front desk. I explained the situation and all I wanted is a quick check to know if I could get home. In a very rude manner he replied "we are closed". I asked again if he can please do an exemption and please take a look and he replied "I already shut down the compressor... learn how to read the sign" and I replied: "the sign said you're open!" Unbelievable the mistreatment at this business by this man. Previously, my wife visited this location and had a quote pending for both our cars but definitely we will go to another place to replace our tires.
