I've been a client of Dane's for nearly a decade and through many milestones. He navigated me…read morethrough the process of insuring my first car as a young adult fresh out of college. But his office does not stop at car insurance. A few months into the start of my career we discussed financial planning. He explained different investment options and was able to help me find the best option for my lifestyle and goals. A few years later I bought my first house and Dane walked me through the mortgage process and helped me pick the appropriate homeowner's insurance policy for my 1930s "Fort Knox" home. My husband and I met with Dane after our wedding to sort out car and homeowners insurance for married couples. My husband was impressed with the respect and thoroughness we were shown throughout the process. I think it's safe to say I trust Dane and his team with pretty much everything.

When getting a quote for homeownwers insurance, State Farm came in the cheapest. Our lender had…read moreprovided us quotes from their in house insurance "seeker" but we decided to to go with State Farm. We cancelled our Geiko auto insurance because part of what would keep our rates low was to bundle our insurance policies. After agreeing, we were told that we had to get a signature of the person who installed the HVAC system years ago of the home that we hadn't purchased. We needed his work id number and his signature! How ludicrous a request. We asked the sellers for this info and they gave us the company name. Needless to say we didn't get that discount. After being given our quote, I scheduled our auto insurance payment to be paid directly from our bank each month. Because State Farm input the incorrect address of our new home into their system, they had given us an incorrect quote so the cost was even higher. After about three months into our policy agreement, State Farm kicked us off of our Auto insurance not because we had any claims filed against us but because of THEIR error in quoting a price, we had come up short for a grand total of .... wait for it... $42!! Not wanting to be without coverage, we immediately paid the the $42 and adjusted our monthly payment by $14. I am currently looking to switch homeowners and auto because I haven't found them to be anything close to a good neighbor!!
