His office response quickly to requests and needs. I have referred Mr. Lester to many friends/family and my own mother. I highly recommend his services. Gena Fish OFallon MO

She tries her best with what she has. We have been with Statefarm Lake St. Louis for about 3 years now but it recently got lapsed. We enjoyed our time with Lee Lester and he has treated us well. I would often have to make a follow up call to grasp my mom's situation and help her out with the language barrier but it was hard to match up the times since I'm a full-time college student, my mom works long hours, and Lee was often busy. Each time we called we were greeted by Jessica, Lee's receptionist. She was kind towards the beginning and I did not have a problem talking to her but most of the time she could not answer the questions me and my mom had. So it got to a point where I would just ask to speak to Lee personally. Obviously Jessica gave some push back, but after I insisted, she would finally connect me. This was never a problem, until recently when our insurance got lapsed with little attempt to notify. I understand it is company policy to email an notification of closure but not even a piece of mail was sent to our address. Statefarm has a history of doing this to its customers (as I've read on reviews). My biggest qualm with this location is how Jessica would treat my mom. She would often be passive aggressive towards my mom. I understand it maybe frustrating to interact with someone who cannot fluently speak english but as a professional, I cannot understand why someone would be so abrupt and rude to a customer who is trying to understand. My mom called back to ask why our policy had been lapsed but she was immediately rejected by Jessica's "We aren't servicing your policy anymore. Call your broker." and that was it. End of story. No explaination whatsoever. So now we are faced with uncontinuous coverage rates (much higher than before) when we've had continuous coverage for over 20 years until now. It really shows how much this location cares about it's clients!

I have been with State Farm for many, many years and they cover my home, car, and boat. I have…read morenever had a single claim, until last week. As I was reading Dann K's review below, it almost mirrors my experience. I live in a small neighborhood, and I estimate that at least 70% of them have also filed a claim for hail damage to their roof. As I look out my window I see my neighbors with new roofing supplies on their roof, ready to go after a swift and efficient claim to the competing company, Safeco. I had a roofing company come out to look at my roof. I went up on the roof with them and saw that there were many impacts. The roofer told me that it was fairly extensive. Since the hail damage, there has also been a leak that was affecting the living room. My claim to State Farm, however, was denied. The claims adjuster went over her findings but seemed a little rushed, as she told me that she was heading back home to have wine with her neighbors. It was a beautiful Friday afternoon, but really? That was more important than taking time for a customer with a loss? In all of these years, I have talked to my agent ONCE... Once! That was while signing me up for the State Farm policy. Since then, there has been nothing. After my claim was denied, I received a call from the agent's office. I thought "great! He is finally getting around to speak with me." But no, that was an office member, who was very nice and listened to my concerns. He told me that he would speak to Mr. H. The next morning and have him give me a call. I got that call the next morning from the same person. He said he did in fact speak with my agent Mr. H. And that he simply referred me to the claims adjuster. This felt like a slap in the face. He offered to have the agent contact me, but I declined - Why bother? This staff member should not have to - The agent should be there for his customers. I have no idea what I have an agent for, and this leaves me with a terrible impression of the company. In fact, the roofer told me that State Farm typically turns down 90% of the claims for this kind of thing. This is extremely disappointing. Given all of this, I am very concerned that State Farm would not be there for me, should there be a loss (I sure hope not) in the future with the home, boat, or car. I will contact their corporate office to let them know about this experience, as well as ripoffreports.com. Since State Farm was not here for my loss, I will be going to another company such as Safeco, which stood by their customer during a loss.

Been with State Farm for 13 years, never a call from Mike or anyone else at their office checking…read moreon service etc. Had 1 auto claim in 13 years and they didn't cover the $500 towing charge. Just had hail damage to our roof which was verified by 2 different roofers and State Farm denied claim stating it was wind not hail damage. Several neighbors with damage from the same storm had State Farm and were told the same story and denied claim. Other neighbors, who didn't have State Farm, were getting their roofs replaced with full coverage. Completely worthless agent, did nothing to assist in the claim or any other claims we had, just referred us to corporate. Don't get sucked in by their low prices, which we found to be not so low once we shopped around and fired them.
