The first week of recovery was honestly pretty rough, but I reached out to Dr. Le and he responded right away and prescribed stronger medication. It helped a lot and made a big difference. Thank you to Valerie and Kevin for being caring assistants and taking good care of me. To the front desk team, I spoke to both team members and they were very patient and helpful! My recovery has been great, just like any other surgery you feel the pain once the anesthesia wears off but the fact that I'm not swollen and I feel good is amazing! Although it's the second day I'm still resting but I can gladly say I'm not in any pain or have severe swelling! I can't wait for my one week check up, hoping and praying that my recovery remains as smooth as it is so far! For years I've known that Dr. Le is the go to OS!! An employer of mine would recommend our patients to Dr. Le and now I can see why! Thank you once again Pacifica team! You guys are amazing!

At 53 years old, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed along with a bone graft. I was told by many people that recovery at my age would be very difficult, but Dr. Hoang was amazing! On the day of surgery, he made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. My recovery went much better than I expected. I only experienced a little swelling on one side where the impacted tooth and bone graft were done. I truly appreciate everyone for making this such a positive experience. Thank you all so much! I have already referred someone and will continue recommending Dr. Hoang and his wonderful staff.

My mother had a consultation over a year ago and was told the office would submit a request to Medi-Cal to determine coverage. After a few months of hearing nothing, I called and was told it had been denied and would be resubmitted. A few months later, I called again and was given the same answer. Each time, I was told the office would contact us with updates, but that never happened. Instead, I had to keep calling to find out the status myself. What frustrated me most was that it took nearly a year to reach the final answer that the treatment was not covered and would need to be paid out of pocket. I completely understand that insurance approvals can be difficult and that offices are busy. I also do not mind paying out of pocket if needed. However, during that year, my mother's infection continued to worsen while we were waiting for updates that never came. My concern is not the insurance decision itself, but the lack of communication and follow-up. I hope the office can improve its tracking and accountability process so that patients are kept informed rather than having to repeatedly reach out on their own.

Had to make a post about this because I genuinely had such a great experience…read more Long story short, my wisdom teeth have been growing in and the pain got progressively worse, but today it became absolutely unbearable. I ended up having to schedule a last-minute emergency procedure to get them removed because I just couldn't take the pain anymore. Not only did California Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center get me in on such short notice, but the entire team was incredible. This was my first surgery ever, and even though it was a relatively minor procedure, I was honestly pretty nervous. Everyone was so kind, patient, and reassuring, and they made the whole experience feel so seamless. Thank you to the doctors and staff for taking such great care of me and making me feel comfortable every step of the way. I truly appreciate it more than you know. If you're looking for an oral surgeon, I can't recommend them enough. My doctor was Dr. Arcan and she was wonderful!

I visited the office with a family member to get a wisdom tooth consultation from Dr. Park and the…read moreexperience was very odd and unpleasant. First, the medical assistant that came to take us back for x-rays never introduced themself or greeted us; they just hovered over our shoulder for a few minutes asking us questions about the magazine we were looking at and what was on my family member's shirt? Then quietly standing there, still hovering. We were really confused and uncomfortable. Once we finally were asked to go back, we did the x-rays and met the doctor. Dr. Park had the same off-putting and unwelcoming energy as the assistant. He did not introduce himself and for some reason was confused who the patient was when I was clearly sitting in the patient chair. He had an attitude any time me or my family member had questions about the procedure because he literally didn't explain anything unless we asked, but would be annoyed because "he was going to say that." It was like he was annoyed with having to do his job properly. He then said that a CT scan was necessary (an additional $285 more than I was told I would be paying for a normal x ray) just to find out that the issue he was concerned about was actually not an issue. The medical assistant was snappy too when directing me through the CT scan (rude). Throughout the consultation, Dr. Park was also very degrading when speaking about my oral health; trying to exaggerate how bad it is that I haven't gotten my wisdom teeth out yet and that I probably have bad oral hygiene because of it, which is far from the truth. I take excellent care of my teeth. He was very judgmental and nothing about his person made me feel comfortable asking more questions or having him or his assistant perform surgery on my mouth. He was just selling the whole time. Also, the office itself isn't well kept. When you walk in, the waiting room looks relatively well maintained. But when you get to the examination rooms, the patient chair was broken and small, the walls had dirt scuffs on them, the equipment table was cheap and unorganized...Everything just looked incomplete and unsatisfactory for an oral surgery facility. It was a disappointing and stressful experience. Improvements need to be made in their office. But I will say, the front staff seemed kind and professional.

I really wanted to like this place because it was so nice and clean. However my issue was with the…read moredental admin department. This office is an absolute scam. They tried to push an unnecessary deep cleaning on me--even after I confirmed with my insurance (Humana) and my sister-in-law, a licensed dental hygienist, that I didn't need it. She personally reviewed my X-rays and said there was zero justification for that level of treatment. Despite this, the office kept insisting I needed it, then manipulated the billing codes to group procedures in a way that would force me to pay more out-of-pocket--even though my insurance covers 70%. When I called Humana, they confirmed the office was submitting things incorrectly. But instead of owning up to it, the staff tried to blame the insurance company and act like they were "just trying to help me save money." That was a lie. I wanted the office to send an appeal. They did not do that. They kept saying I desperately needed it but if I did then my insurance should have no problem covering it. They did not provide sufficient proof/evidence for the claim to be approved. It just didn't make any sense to me. I chose to text as a form of contact so I would have receipts of the conversation in case anything happened and I'm glad I did because when I re read everything it's just absolutely ridiculous how they handled the situation and how they dodged so many of my questions while I was trying to gain clarity. This place is predatory. They rely on patients not understanding billing codes or questioning treatment plans. It is so important to understand what your insurance covers because places like this will do everything in their power to make you pay up front and tell you insurance will cover it later. Then you'll realize your insurance will reject the claim snd you're out $500 of your own money. The whole experience felt like a setup to squeeze as much money as possible from me under the guise of "care." Do yourself a favor: get a second opinion, talk to your insurance, and run far away from this office. They are unethical, dishonest, and absolutely not looking out for your best interest. Also I want to mention if you look at the other 1 star review, you can see the another person having the same exact issue regarding the deep cleaning. I couldn't believe it.

Thank you to Dr. Chang and his staff for being so patient and taking the time with me. I pray you…read morenever relocate or retire--no one else would put up with my annoyingly anxious self
