If I could add more stars to this review, I would! We had the pleasure of working with Tom as our wedding planner for our wedding last weekend. Tom exceeded our expectations every step of the way. We were planning an out of town wedding, in our backyard. Logistics were challenging and of course I had my vision of how I wanted everything to look. Tom made it happen, with a smile on his face. He has a dream team of vendors he partners with that we equally as kind and professional. The florals were to be simple due to a small wedding. We hired Tom Simmons for our wedding planner/florist for our wedding at the spectacular Colony 29 in Palm Springs. Let me just say, there is no one better. He is unbelievably talented and creative. Every vision I had for my wedding he excelled it thousand times. I wanted a chandelier looking like it was hanging in mid air at the ceremony site up against a mountain back drop. Tom made that happen! I wanted these beautiful barn doors looking like they were opening up to the ceremony site. Tom again made that happen! He took all my visions and made them come to life, leaving all my worries behind with his exclusive planning, organization and artistic talent. Along with that he is a amazing, caring individual. I do not know where to begin because Tom did so much for my wedding day. Tom took on the role of decorating my hall, guiding me through colors, and creating beautiful flower arrangements. With all the experience Tom has, I trusted him with decorating and deciding how he wanted things to look. WOW! did he surpass my expectations. He added so much class and beauty to my venue it was breath taking. People raved about my décor and flowers. He decorated the Cathedral Lady of Angels in a way that looked classy, and added some nice touches. When I arrived to the reception I was shocked by how beautiful he decorated every area of the reception. He added candles and flowers to the place card table, he adorned the cake in a way that made it look so grand, and he created center pieces that guest were dying to take home. My bouquet was absolutely stunning. Tom has been blessed with the gift of decorating! He kept it classy and modern with an artistic touch. I cannot say enough about his work. He is different from any other florist. I have gone to many weddings where décor looks similar, but Tom took the time to get to know our taste and he gives his work a unique twist because he wants his art to represent the couple he is designing for. Legitimately don't know where to start with Tom & Tom Simmons Event. Let's just say, if we could hire him as our life coordinator we would. We first connected with Tom as a florist/decorator for our wedding and from the very first phone call he was so professional- answered all of our questions, answered questions we didn't even know we need to ask. He was also very accommodating with changing our date because of Covid. Flash forward one month before our wedding, we are in dire need of a day-of coordinator and reached out to Tom and he happily shared information regarding what services it included and he provided. & let us tell you-holy crap thank God for Tom!! He was so professional, always on time (even when I wasn't), coordinated with ALL our other vendors so organized, treated everyone with respect, always had a smile. Tom made our wedding dreams come true. It was a magical weekend. He did our rehearsal dinner + wedding. Stunning florals, greenery, trees and more. He was so easy to work with, organized, imaginative. I would recommend for any event, it was like he was in my dreams. I've known Tom for many years, we worked together on charity events. I was so thrilled to have him as my florist and wedding planner. He knew exactly my style and how to communicate to me so that I always stayed on budget. He gave us great advice on doing your own thing vs. traditions for weddings and how to deal with family and guests. MLK BBQ 2016 Sit down for 65 Guests This was my second party that TBPP and Tom handled, and I mean handled: 1.Tent 2. Menu selection of multicourse meal, served, not buffet style. 3. Table 4. Place settings and flatware 5. Flowers for the tables and house decorated 6. decorations in the yard 7. Wait staff, bartenders, cooks etc., to pass drinks and appetizers on arrival. etc. And too many other small details, the likes of which they handle for me, the host, that I don't want to have to deal with. Oh invitations, did I mention that too. So much goes into the planning and in order for me to enjoy the festivities I leave it all to Tom. They handle it all. Everything went off without a hitch and this is why I have used them again this year as well. The food was amazing. The drinks superb, and the flowers were perfect. With all the moving parts I could never do it on my own and enjoy the party too. Everything was set up and broken down at my house without a hitch. They are professional. Detail oriented. Low to no stress and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I didn't have to do anything but show up and pick the music. Tom would have done that too, I am sure.
